This isn't really Baptist History, but I was just copying Hassell's History of the Church of God to cd. My four year old daughter walked up to my desk and asked who the men were in the pictures i.e. bros. Hassell.

I told her they were two Particular Baptists, she said, 'what are we?'

I said, 'we are missionary Baptists.'

She said, 'that kinda rhymes don't it?' :(

Just thought this was cute and that I would share it.

    God Bless All.

The late Dr. Oswald J. Smith, pastor of the famous People's Church in Toronto, and an ordained Presbyterian minister, said: Show me your list of missionaries you support, and I will show you a church with the heart of God.

I believe that to be true. The church that supports missionaries is a praying, preaching and prospering assembly. It is an indicator of depth of soul and sharing the love of Christ.

    Cheers,

    Jim
