Pure Words issued the following idle threat on behalf of Dr. Petey:

But, you would be so lucky if he only did that

    Drool washes off.

The one and only reason to use the KJB is because it is the preserved words of God!

OK, so there's no good reason other than the ones you make up. Gotcha.

Once again. Lots of whining lots of fluff and generalities but no one can show me a single book that is the words of God, perfect, pure, and preserved that is not the 1611 AV.

I told you, I got it right here, and for the right amount of cash, I'll let you see it.

I could tell your question wasn't really sincere.

Nope. Both are inspired in the originals but only the message is perfectly preserved and that by the abundance of imperfectly preserved mss, witnesses, and ancient versions.

trust me, if Dr Ruckman was here you boys would be crying and sucking your thumb after what he would do to you</font>[/QUOTE]Invite him... if he can handle the rules without resorting to offensive language and name calling, I would love to see him in this debate.

His presence would probably turn more moderately KJVO's away from this false teaching than anything we can say.

I wonder whether the KJV advocates will be criticizing that Mel Gibson movie of Christ because it uses Aramaic and not the King James Version...

Romans 10:9 (Western Apache New Testament):

    Nize'di', Jesus sheBik'ehn hoshdlaa, nniiyugo,
    laii Bek'ehgo'ihi'nan Jesus daztsaadi'
nayihilna'ii nijii yune' hondlaaygo hasdannah deleel.

Parden my character set, there are two different
"n" based letters and three "a" based letters.

Anyway, due the pecularities of the
    Western Apache language,
everything you need to know about salvation
comes even through the Western Apache.
That is Jesus -- all you need to know.

In another sense though, the Western Apache
version of God's written word: the New Testament,
is NOT good for the readers of this board.
For it is a language, a tongue, a word that we
    don't understand.

IMHO the written word of God should be in
a language the reader can understand.
That is why i prefer a modern version of
    the Bible.
