The Real “War On Women”

I am so sick and tired, yes, sick and tired, of hearing about the “War On Women” while women fill abortionist’s offices to terminate the life of their own female (and male) babies. The left has labeled those who are against the act of abortion as “warring” against women even though the lives of the little female babies within them are being slaughtered at the altar of the female mother’s “right to choose”.

Although I’m a registered Republican, I am currently not a fan of either party. However, the Democrat Party is the Party that concocted this fictitious War On Women for political reasons. You see, if the Democrat political leaders can convince non-thinking human beings that there is indeed a “War On Women”, then they can politically posture themselves to be the “Protector of Women” in order to gain the female vote. So elementary for the simple minded who lack the discernment not to buy what they are selling.

Most Black Americans identify themselves with the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party’s Plantation Owners pose to protect a “Woman’s Right To Choose” to abort her child. However, The Democrat Party of abortion sweeps the dirt under the carpet that they are depopulating their own race through their extraordinary push to abort their own black babies. Data from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene disclosed that New York black women had more abortions than live births in 2012 http://www.clutchmagonline.com/2014/02/statistics-show-black-babies-aborted-born-nyc/.

I quote the article, “As far as pregnancy terminations, black children who were aborted comprised 42.4 percent of the total number of abortions in New York City. In 2012, out of 73,815 abortions in the city, 31,328 black babies were aborted.” I would wager that up to half, if not more, of those aborted black babies were female.

[]bSex-Selection Abortion: A War on Baby Girls[/b]

Last year, an undercover video-taped sting operation by Live Action (liveaction.org) exposed several Planned Parenthood affiliates who were eager, ready and willing to facilitate secret abortions for underage sex trafficking victims—some as young or younger than 14— to get them on the streets again.

As the prime sponsor of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, I found the on-the-record willingness of Planned Parenthood personnel to exploit young girls and partner with sex traffickers to be absolutely appalling.

Now Live Action has released another sting operation video—part of a new series, Gendercide: Sex Selection in America—showing Planned Parenthood staff advising an undercover female investigator how to procure a sex-selection abortion.

Caught on tape, Planned Parenthood tells the investigator to wait until the baby is 5 months along to get an ultrasound that will reveal the sex of the child.

Then, if it’s a girl, kill it.

Yesterday, the Huffington Post reported that “no Planned Parenthood clinic will deny a woman an abortion based on her reasons for wanting one, except in states that explicitly prohibit sex selection abortions.”

In other words, Planned Parenthood is OK with exterminating a child in its huge network of clinics simply because she’s a girl. What a dangerous place for little girls. Let’s not forget that Planned Parenthood aborts approximately 330,000 children each year. This, Mr. Speaker, is the real war on women.

For most of us, Mr. Speaker, “it’s a girl” is cause for enormous joy, happiness and celebration. But in many countries—including our own—it can be a death sentence. Today, the three most dangerous words in China and India are: it’s a girl. We can’t let that happen here.

By now most people know that the killing of baby girls by abortion or at birth is pervasive in China due to the One Child policy and a preference for sons. China and India are “missing” tens of millions of daughters.

In her book, Unnatural Selection: Choosing Boys Over Girls, and the Consequences of a World Full of Men, Mara Hvistendahl, traces the sordid history of sex-selection abortion as a means of population control. “By August 1969, when the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the Population Council convened another workshop on population control, sex selection had become a pet scheme… Sex selection, moreover, had the added advantage of reducing the number of potential mothers…if a reliable sex determination technology could be made available to a mass market,” there was “rough consensus” that sex selection abortion “ would be an effective, uncontroversial and ethical way of reducing the global population.”

Fewer women, fewer mothers, fewer future children.

At the conference, one abortion zealot, Christopher Tietze co-presented sex selection abortion as one of twelve new strategies representing the future of global birth control. Planned Parenthood honored Tietze four years later with the Margaret Sanger Award.

(I would note parenthetically, in March of 2009, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton also received the Margaret Sanger Award and said in her acceptance speech that she was “in awe” of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. To our distinguished Secretary of State, I respectfully ask: Are you kidding? In “awe” of Margaret Sanger, who said in 1921, “Eugenics…is the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political, and social problems.” And who also said in 1922, “The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

Secretary Clinton in her speech said that Margaret Sanger’s “life and leadership” was “one of the most transformational in the entire history of the human race.” Mr. Speaker, transformational, yes, but not for the better if one happens to be a woman, poor, disenfranchised, weak, a person of color, vulnerable, or among the many so-called undesirables who Sanger would exclude and exterminate from the human race.)

It is a real SPIRITUAL UPLIFT to see how excited people on this "CHRISTIAN" Forum are over the issue of the slaughter of unborn or just born babies!

I frequently call Islam a "religion of death" and I really believe that. However their view of abortion is more in keeping with the teaching of Jesus Christ than that of many 'so-called Christian" denominations.

Abortion: Islamic views

Abul Fadl Mohsin Ebrahim. Abortion, Birth Control and Surrogate Parenting: An Islamic Perspective. n.p.: American Trust Publications, 1989.

In his survey of diverse schools of Islamic law, Ebrahim notes

...the Hanafi school is the most flexible on abortion. It specifies that before the fourth month of pregnancy, an abortion may be induced if a woman's pregnancy poses a threat to the life of her already existing infant. The Maliki position prohibits an abortion after implantation has taken place, while the Shafi'i school maintains that at any stage after fertilization the zygote should not be disturbed, and interference with its development would be a crime. The Hanbali school by stipulating the payment of blood wit for causing a miscarriage shows that it regards abortion as a sin. (90)
Moreover, even after ensoulment - at which point, the fetus is regarded as having equal right with its mother - in the case of conflict, "this dilemma is resolved by the general principle of the Shari'ah: choosing the lesser of two evils. Rather than losing both lives, the life of one should be given preference over the other," - i.e., the mother's life. (91)

While Islamic tradition thus evinces some diversity of views, the general trend (if it can be called that) is clearly against abortion. And so Ebrahim concludes by quoting the Qur'an as defending the sanctity of life:

If anyone slays a human being unless it be (in punishment) for murder or for spreading corruption on earth - it shall be as if he had slain the whole of mankind; whereas, if anyone saves a life, it shall be as if he had saved the lives of the whole of mankind (5:32: in Ebrahim, 102)
Ebrahim comments:

From this verse it is evident that every human being has the right to be born, the right to be, and the right to live as long as Allah (SWT) permits. No one may be deprived of life except for a legitimate crime as discussed above. The fetus is regarded by all schools of Islamic law has having the right to life, as indicated by the fact that the death sentence on a pregnant woman can be carried out only after she has given birth. (102)
According to Ebrahim, this right to life is absolute in Islam: it cannot be overridden, even in cases of rape or concerns regarding fetal deformity (103).

Abortion in Islam

Abortion is one of the most contested issues found in the contemporary world. Every year their are heated political debates and even acts of terrorism surrounding this issue. According to the famous moral philosopher Peter Singer, the issue of abortion is currently one of the most bitterly disputed of all ethical issues. The debate has been long-running, and neither side has had much success in altering the opinions of its opponents.

The term abortion usually refers to the induced abortion of a human pregnancy. The question rises, what does Islam say about this issue? Does Islam side with the right or with the left? Or, does Islam have a view unique to itself?

Throughout history, religion has prohibited abortion. This can be seen in many religious scriptures and the words of religious scholars. For instance, according to the Hindu scholar Chandrasekhar, the Hindu scriptures from the Vedic age down to the Smritis (100 BC to 100 AD) called it “bhrunahatya” (“fetus murder”) or farbhahatya (“pregnancy destruction”), and condemned it as a serious sin.

The major monotheistic religions have also condemned the practice of abortion. In Judaism, the ruling prohibiting abortion is based on the verse, ‘Whosoever sheddeth the blood of man in man, his blood shall be shed.’ (Genesis 9:6). Here, ‘man in man,’ is considered to be a fetus, and aborting this fetus is equated with murder.”
