The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:17-19

Yes, when the righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yes, the LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Yes, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Jesus is our victory especially over all disappointments. If we turn our problems over to the Lord, He knows just what to do. He gives peace in the midst of the storm. He heals the broken hearted. He gives strength when one is weak. He supplies all things needed for soul, mind and body. What may seem hard and impossible with us; is not impossible with God. We can look to the Lord in all faith believing, and allow Jesus to turn all disappointments into joy and comfort us just like He comforted Joseph and Job! God's promises are true He is the God of all comfort and the Waymaker who can make a way where there seems to be no way. His word is unchanging:

"For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the LORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:1-3

But the evil and wicked ones don’t get delivered out of their troubles just like king Herod who killed James the brother of John with the sword. The bible records for our profit and instruction under the new dispensation of grace:

Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king's personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king's country. So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, "The voice of a god and not of a man!" Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. But the word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 12:20-24
