It's a very pleasant looking town, Jim1999. I didn't see the Fish and Chips place you've spoken of tho.

Oh, the fish and chips places are in England....We have the Corner Store and the Bakery as usual haunts or hangouts. The photos aren't clear enough to make them out.

I just thought it might be interesting to see how quaint a place this village is. There are only four Tamworths in the world: England, Australia (fairly large cities) Canada and New Hampshire; a one highway village, but home of the first live theatre in America.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Roger, Congrats on 9000! What a nice town. It looks pretty big.

I don't think there are any online pictures of Villa Rica.

Thank you for sharing the photos with us, Jim and Roger.

I do enjoy seeing pictures of other places which I would otherwise not get to see.

Leo is home now. He is very wobbly and quiet. He has already made his head bleed. He has eaten some cooked chicken for supper.

I think I will go to bed and listen to the radio and hope he will settle down.

    God Bless

    Sheila

I am working on an article for our next issue of The Torch which a gospel newsletter we disribute to every home in our town. The min article is "Where is God in 2005" and I am using Neitchze's God is dead" article as the basis for it.

Neitchze says "we have killed God". Of course man does not have that power, but sadly man has, in many ways killed the "concept" of God in his own mind.

Still pulling final thoughts together on how God is still there, even though man in hispride may think that he has killed Him. He is still there and man still needs Him.

In between am helpin Mary and Eoin with the tree.

The marvellous thing is that God cannot be silenced, but God has silenced Himself in history. He works at His own pleasure and in His own time.

I recall the story about the atheist who shookhis hand at heaven and challenged God to strike him dead if He existed. Nothing! See, he said, there is no God. On his way home, on a desolate path, a bolt of lightning struck him dead. There were no witnesses, but God spoke loud and clear.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Hello everyone. We had a most marvellous fall of snow in the night. It left a foot on the ground. The trees are all white; it is wonderful to see and feel.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Hello everyone,

The scene here is most beautiful, with the crystalized snow clinging to every tree branch.

Sheila, thanks for the Christma card. Yours is on the way..should get it before Cristmas....next year, but you will love the scene. It is our laneway and two of the dogs, showing all the recent snow and the trees.

    Cheers,

    Jim

For my devotionals, I have been using various stories and situations, and rather enjoy it. I feel like I am back in the pulpit again.

Roger, glad I could offer something for your articles.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Hello Everyone, we are back home. Good to see the family and some friends but I found it rather stressful. Rob and I are having a lazy evening this evening. I will try and look in later.

    Blessings
