    This is a vital doctrine to Christianity yet some or many tracts miss it. Not only tracts but even I have missed it in open air sermons. John Pipers tracts usually hit it right on the head.

    I think that in the church the resurrection is not emphasized as much as it should be. Anyone else?

    Over-generalization. Depends on the church.

    I think you are overgeneralizing, but there are many notable lapses in Christendom.

    For instance, one of the most popular worship songs of the last 20 years alleges to tell the story of Jesus but glosses over the resurrection:

    He came from heaven to earth, to show the way
    From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
    From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
    Lord I life Your Name on high.

    While I give the songwriters lots of credit for including the Ascension (a neglected doctrine in Protestant churches), "from the grave to the sky" completely skips the idea that Jesus was resurrected from the dead and appeared to numerous people to demonstrate the victory of God and the truth of His ministry and teaching.

    Not in my church. Hallelujah!

    If the resurrection is not believed and preached the Bible says the preaching is in vain and so is our faith.

    1 Cor. 15:14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

    My point with quoting that scripture is if your preaching does not include the resurrection it is empty, and in vain. That's why I would never use a tract that doesn't have the resurrection in it. Plain Biblical command, I don't know how/why the writer of The Bridge tract fails to obey it.

    I've been preaching through the Colossians and just went back through my notes. 13 weeks so far and the Resurrection has been mentioned for 13 weeks.

    1 Corinthians 15:13-14 NASB
    13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised;
    14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.

    Even Arminians preach on it.

    This isTHE bedrock doctrine in Christianity, for If Jesus did not rise from the dead, no Christiaity, just burn the Bible!
