    The participles in question are non-temporal. σωζομενοις is a verb in the present tense, passive voice, participle. They correspond to state of being verbs in English, not action verbs.

    If my bonehead Greek serves me correct, the meaning of the aforementioned participle would be "the ones (masculine gender, but includes everyone) who are saved", or even, "the saved ones".
