    There is no constitutional mandate that anyone be ethical. If there was, there would not be enough remaining politicians left to investigate the TV preachers.

    Take the criminals to jail or take them out and shoot them.

    Allowing such evil in our government is wrong.

    What should they do with unethical politicians and especially the money hungry charlatans on TV? Ever see that idiot who sells the natural cures books and how many times he has been in jail. He has been told to stop doing a number of things because of fraud.

    This administration corrupts anything it touches. Scientists depend on honesty from each other, because one crooked scientist can contaminate science for years afterwards with fraudulent papers.

    In academia, such people are ruined. In government, apparently, they are protected.

    All governments attract weak minded scientists and even doctors because they are protected from criminal charges . . .

    USA to China. They are called bureaucrats . . .

    Thank God the some good ones decide to server their country and their people.

    This is pathetic, but is it something unique to this aministration or do I think it could happen in other administrations? I don't think it's all that unique.

    I think that we as a country (at all levels) are in a terrible state of moral and ethical decline.

    Yes, it's a new thing. There was one case of it in Daddy Bush's administration, and he nailed the guy responsible. (a bureaucrat, actually)

    Up until this administration, even Reagan considered scientific results to be too important to spin.

    But not these guys.
