    Where did I ever state that all evangelicals are for Mitt?

    It is undeniable that there are evangelicals for Mitt. And I truly believe that when the rubber meets the road in 2008 that the majority of evangelicals who vote or participate in caucuses will vote for or side with Mitt.

    To me, that leave me the impression that you believe, or want others to believe that Mitt has a great evangelical following.

    I just wanted to point out that just because there is a website, doesn't mean there is a following.

    Since Jack stated it would be close to non-existent, and didn't say it was close to non-existent, we all will have to wait and see who is right won't we.

    I think you are allowing your personal bias to read something into my posts that is not there.

    Yes, we'll see in about 13 months what happens. And I truly believe that I will be correct and you anti-Mitt folks will have egg on your faces concerning the level of evangelical support for Mitt in the GOP primaries and caucuses. :)

    You make him sound like the anti-Bush (i. e., old, white, and inarticulate).

    Beyond that, it's too soon too tell. He has not done enough to let us form an opinion one way or another.

    Not one of those guys I would vote for.
    Jim Clymer of the Constitution party? He might as well join up with Mitt Romney like he did with all of the mormons in Nevada.
    The Constitution party already ran off all of the principled Christians.

    A major problem with ideologues is that they allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good. The Libertarian Party has had the same problem. Members are so hung up on maintaining the purity of the party that it degenerates into civil war within the party and it can never, ever make any headway with the electorate.

    Which is a good reason why I have abandoned the minor party route.

    Ahh, but that is the route of the pragmatist. Are we, as Christians to be faithful or are we to win elections?

    The elections are in the hands of God. it is our duty to obey His word. If we vote, it should be for Godly men. I would not vote for a mormon, a humanist, a catholic or even a Christian that didn't display Godly character and honesty.

    If one doesn't win elections then one cannot get half of a loaf or even part of a loaf.

    I have no problem with someone being an ideological purist. I just have more of an interest in obtaining some positive results instead of spending the rest of my life in the political wilderness with other ideological purists. :)

    so in other words, you're not going to vote. I hate voting for the least evil candidate. But my hope isn't in any candidate or party. I may hold my nose but I'll vote for the one closest to a Biblical position on abortion and one who is closest to my own political beliefs.

    Thanks for using the 1611 AV, as we both share a deep love for it.
    I am not really a Hillary fan, although I don't totally dislike her and do share similar views on a few topics. But I am not of the opinion that she would make a great POTUS.
