To the man from Texas, on behalf of the board...

Dear members -

It is my understanding that this evening a pair of trolls began spamming the board with objectionable images and posts. None of the administrators were logged on to delete the posts and ban the intruders.

Rev. G, member # 4430, had the presence of mind and the fortitude to follow these two across the board and do what he had in his power to do: post new topics and responses that masked the objectionable posts from the index page.

On behalf of the Baptist Board, I wish to extend our gratitude to Rev. G for his quick thinking and fast action and for helping us maintain a quality, family oriented, Christian site.

These were, of course, only the alerts that came to me concerning the forums I moderate. The other moderators also recived alerts and we are grateful to all of you.

Rev. G noted in another thread that Nils (aka Tuor) also spent a great deal of effort keeping the index page clean the other night.

Nils is long time member of the board whom many of you may not know as he is not Baptist and thus posts in the "Other Christians" forums.
