What English version would be closest to the original if retranslated back into the Greek text?

not technically a version, but i'd guess it'd be an Interlinear Bible.

Doesn't the question presuppose that there is only one possible rendering of the Greek for any given passage? I'm not sure that premise is defensible any more than saying there's only one way to translate the Bible into English.
