We are in the middle of a trip to take us to these states. The interesting thing is, this is the first time we have ever been to ND, and the last state of the lower 48 we had not been in. We started at Fargo, spent the night in Jamestown. Today, we saw the world's largest buffalo, and cow in Salem. We saw the state Capitol is Bismarck, then spent the afternoon touring Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Tomorrow we are going to Little Big Horn and Devils Tower. We end up visiting the Badlands of SD and will catch Mt Rushmore, the Wind Caves, Deadwood, and other sites on the way home to KY. So far a great trip.

I hope you have a wonderful time!

We were there several years (1980s) and I remember the fields of sunflowers. So beautiful! If I ever go back, I'd like to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in Desmet, SD.
