With 16 days to go until November 8, Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 2 percentage points — 43% to 41% — in a four-way race, according to the latest IBD/TIPP presidential tracking poll.

Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson saw his support held steady at 7%, while the Green Party's Jill Stein dipped to 3%.

    Unrounded, Trump leads 42.6% to 40.8% — a 1.8-point edge — with Johnson at 7.2% and Stein at 3.3%.

    Trump also holds a nearly one-point lead in a two-way matchup — 43.2% to 42.3%.

All you need to do to find out is to watch less than a minute of the video at the link I posted. KellyAnne Conway, Trump campaign manager said, "We are behind."

I don't have the exact quote handy but I think the campaign manager was responding to some question about MSM battleground state polling, not the Trump internal polling. Probably best to play like you are behind this close to election day.

This particular poll doesn't have a terrible track record - they had Obama by 1 a week before the 2012 election and that was within their MoE but a lead this slim could mean Hillary will win it by 2 percentage points or so.

It's also good political get out the vote strategy.

So, Trump's get out the vote strategy is:

Not running a ground game campaign.
Not running many ads in swing states.
Attacking Paul Ryan, GOP Speaker of the House.
    "We're behind."
    "The election is rigged."
    "The polls are rigged."
"People are afraid to tell pollsters they're voting for me."
"I'll tell you after the election if I'll abide by the results."

Man, that sure sounds like a winning strategy. It'll be textbook stuff for generations!

SSHhhhh! Don't wake her up - let her glide on in asleep at the helm.

Then Trump can wake her up with a subpoena to serve her.

Forget the polls. There is no more honesty on either side.

They are all outlier polls. The Marxist pollsters somehow almost always seem to support HRC,
    the Irredeemable deplorables Trump.

Anyway It's a do-Si-do propaganda square dance between the two major parties that shouldn't be believed by we the sheeple on either side of the aisle.

November 8th will be the end all (well hopefully).

I still think Hillary has it in the bag because the comrades at the major media are not reporting the Wikileaks.
