Here is a truth I like to teach:

Attacking the veracity of my Bible is not a good way to
    'defend' the KJB.

The argument between the KJV and modern versions is NOTHING new. I am for the KJV and against the modern versions. I have some reasons why I do not use these modern versions:

[Bible attack deleted] One thing is that Catholics hated the KJV. Many long years Catholics killed Christians who defend the Bible such as Tyndale, but TODAY Catholics cannot kill them. Catholic’s conspiracy is to train its secret professors, and then these secret professors trained NEXT new professors who were not Catholics. [Bible attack deleted] and the Catholic’s goal is that the KJV will be destroyed. Was Catholic’s goal successful today? Never will.

How many Bible Colleges use the Catholicized Greek text in their Greek classes?

How many Bible colleges, that they pretend they support the preserved text translated in the KJV, defend the [Bible attack deleted] Greek text New Testament?

What % of schools’ graduates believe in the humanistic reasoning underlying the [Bible attack deleted] Greek Text, namely W/H text?

Do you have evidence that the Catholic Church is out to destroy the KJV?

No. it's pointless, as ANYONE can see it's only guesswork and opinion. That's about all Askjo ever brings to the table.

Far as I'm concerned, might as well be. I see nothing new on the horizon for this thread.

    Doubtful, to say the least.

Don't bother, Mexdeaf. We would just be wasting our time.

    I'll second that!

Typical of Jack Chick's abandonment of the TRUTH in exchange for falling for the KJVO myth. While many have been led to CHRIST by his TRUTHFUL comix, many have been led astray by the LIES in some of his other ones.

    ding ding ding

Hooey wins for the word of the day. ;)

And a very accurate portrayal of the tract.

(I like that word. I use it a lot when the students try to give me a story they think I should buy because I'm not a teenager and they think I've not got the sense God gave a soda cracker because they are teenagers and know it all and I'm old and know nothing. Little do they know! )

Actually, it is quite amazing. And to think that they used to sell chick books to us kids at the bookstore at summer church camp and we believed everything they said.

Funny how he mentions the Vulgate as being from Satan, but fails to recognize that the last few verses of Revelation actually was taken from the Vulgate. The Vulgate was also used as a reference to compare manuscripts.
