I have a question for you: Do you stand firmly against abortion and would you, if a doctor or nurse, oppose pro-abortion civil law in order to uphold God's law?

You LIED when you said that my post was incorrect. That's why you should apologize. Of course I don't expect a party hack like you to actually apologize.

Well then I won't let you down. No apology coming, Mr. Follow his way of peace not war.

You lied when you said Bush did nothing about abortion. The facts are well documented.

BTW, you say nothing changed under Bush, then you say he did change something. Which is it ?

And for which party am I hacking ?

No, I'm not repeating a general statement. I'm providing the facts about the specific rule in question.

    I'm hoping this is hyperbole.

President Obama is only reviewing it at this time, correct?

What facts, about what specific rule ? That Bush didn't do anything about abortion ? Your own post disproves you.

As some of the posts at the bottom of the page suggest, perhaps this is indeed political posturing. Stranger things have happened...

The only issue I have with what Bush did in this regard is the timing, right before he left office. There's absolutely no reason he couldn't have done this 8 years ago, but he chose to do it right before he left office, suggesting that his motive for doing it was primarily to cause trouble for Obama.

On the other hand, maybe it was because he knew it would likely never be done under Obama.

We're talking specifically about preventing medical professionals from being forced to abort the unborn if they believe that the practice is immoral. Read the OP.

(CNSNews.com) – Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), who is also an OB/GYN, told CNSNews.com on Friday that many medical practitioners, including himself, will go to prison before agreeing to engage in medical practices they morally oppose, such as abortion.

Praise God for that bill. Sounds like Bush did do something about abortion, after all.

Perhaps, but, again, he could have done it at any time before his last month in office, and he chose to wait till then.

What law did Ms Parks disobey?? Was there a law on the books in the state of Alabama and in the city of Montgomery that barred blacks from being seated in the front of the bus???

Can anyone here on the board post the law(in an official manner) that Ms Parks broke??
