I guess I’m still holding on to some optimism, hoping that we are misunderstanding him or he will retract the earlier statements. That being said I’m sure that you would agree that we should discuss his premise not his capitalization skills.

I'm glad that I looked at your profile before I responded to this insensitive comment. I thought, "How can anyone be that juvenile as to say something like that?"

Then I had a sneaking suspiscion....and I looked at your profile.

With your being only 18 years old and with your interests being "hackeysack" and "chillaxin' with your homeys", I see that you weren't being purposely insensitive here, just irresponsibly juvenile.

    Peace-

    windork,

There's no need to be mean or insulting. Gekko has a right to express his views, and nothing he has said deserves "banning."

    You owe him an apology.

Gekko, Christian or not, the individuals who died on that day were your fellow human beings, the innocent victims of a cowardly enemy who fights dirty. The numbers are IMO irrelevant - 'only' just over 50 people died in London last July at the hands of the Islamist suicide bombers and yet those of us who are, with respect, a bit older than you feel their deaths very keenly; it is also IMO irrelevant to how we feel as to whether the people who died were Christian or not - if a victim is Christian that doesn't mean that their loved ones left behind feel their loss any the less

I don't think the label "idiot twerp" has a place on a Christian board. I don't agree with his premise, but we're men of God...we should be above name-calling and insults.

Mstt makes a good point...Americans were suffering during that time. We are to "weep with those who weep."

Gekko, in addition...in our church, we had eleven folks come to Christ the two weeks after 9/11. Just because everyone didn't "stick with the plan" doesn't mean that God didn't see many precious souls come to Him during that awful time in our history.

Also...it DOES grieve me whenever a lost person dies without Christ. But I'm called to reach who I can. I am not omnipresent...and I don't know a victim of 9/11 that I could have personally reached. But many of us do realize the gravity of our calling.

Warning: There is some very unChristian and vulgar content on this site, posted mostly by conspiracy theorist, especially on the thread where they are basically trolling the forum. I am just glad my 2 year old was not around. If you have children, do not go to this forum.

Must be hard finding out your opinion is part of an ever shrinking minority. [IMG]

The whole world is like that Joseph. Is that a surprise?

I was not worried about what he would read. There are some very vulgar and offensive images on that website.

Thread closed. The insults back and forth have taken their toll on my patience.
