Want to be called "Dr." with a Doctor of Ministry Degree?

    I remember Pastor Al Martin's (Reformed Baptist Church) comments about being a Doctor....in short, the gentleman instructed his flock to always call him Pastor & if someone insisted on calling him Doctor then he could meet Al out in the parking lot for some heightened dialog & more. LOL. You have to love that about the guy...at least I do.

    Should I be called "Doctor" with only a Doctor of Ministry degree; even though I teach at a Baptist College? :smilewinkgrin:

    You have enough degrees but that depends on if you have any temperature.

    Only a Doctor of Ministry degree? They don't give those things away to just anyone who can fog up a mirror, Dr. Rhetorician :)

    You flatter me sir!!! Would to God that I could have as much influence for our Lovely Lord Christ's Kingdom as Dr. Calvin Miller. He is one of the greats for sure.

    I cannot let this stand. Thank you for comparing me to Dr. Calvin Miller. But I must protest. I will never be his equal or even a good student of his. :smilewinkgrin:

    I had the privilege of being one of his students and he was great. What I really liked about him is that he had done what he taught.
