Looks like Wayland Baptist University is now going to have MDivs. 86 Hours either in person or fully online.

    I thought this was interesting.
"Wayland’s program is 86 hours, including courses in Biblical languages that students may opt out of, dropping the coursework to 80 hours."

I was surprised that they just remove the 6 hours from the degree, they don't even fill it in with electives. Seems as almost an incentive not to take languages.

Many are now doing this. Usually it is noted on in the degree transcript that there were no languages taken. There is a place for this degree, some want to go on for a final degree that is not necessarialy theological in nature, say counseling.
