    I was just going through my blogs - and following their list of favorite blogs to find some new ones. I find some of them to be really good and encouraging/instructional/enlightening. How about you? What blogs do you like to visit?

    I'll post one: http://www.challies.com/

    I don't write or read blogs. I don't have the time for one thing and I'm not that interested in someone else's daily lives when I have more than I can keep up with here at home. :)

    Blogs are not just people's diaries.

    I enjoy blogs of friend's devotional thoughts. They are always a blessing. I also like family photoblogs. I have three blogs, one for our ministry, one for our family photos, and one for my devotional thoughts.

    I like SPOGG. It is a blog dedicated to proper grammar. Some of the things they find and report on are hilarious.

    I find blogs are a lot less time consuming than a discussion board.

    Thanks. I'll have to check this one out. I love the tag line: "informing the reforming." Lord knows we (the reformed, of all people) need to be informed.

    None. I find them simplistic and awkward to navigate.

    I do discussion boards, not blogs.

    Why would anyone start a blog for free, when they can start a discussion board for free??? Doesnt make any sense at all.

    Blog = 1964 Ford Fairlane

    Discussion board = 2008 Mercedes Benz

    Actually, I have no idea what a blog is--is it just an online diary of one's boring life?

    Some are. But some, such as the Tim Challies' one that I read, are excellent theological works - some even like small books. Yes, they're "opinions" but no worse than a pastor's opinion when he teaches. :) I've learned a lot though them.

    I have 2 message boards and email, I really don't have time for blogs, especially long ones.
