As college football fans are aware, there is almost certain to be controversy again in the final BCS poll, which will determine which 2 teams will play for the “national championship” on Januray 7 in New Orleans. Currently LSU (9-1) and Oregon (8-1) are ranked 1 and 2, and probably will remain so if they ‘win out,’ even while there remain 2 possibilities to go undefeated (Kansas and Hawaii). Trying to be objective—that is, not automatically selecting the criteria that should benefit ‘your’ team—what are the qualities that you think should be most strongly considered in determining the top 2 teams, for this or any season?

Note: this poll would be limited to 4 answers, but with this lousy poll function it must allow only one answer or all possible answers. So it is requested that no more than 4 answers be selected.

As in Rock smashes the linebacker, Paper covers the hot receiver, and Scissors cuts the defensive end [within the cutzone, of course] on a stunt?

Sounds good to me. They could put names in a hat, parade mascots through pre-schools, or let Martha Stewart choose based on color schemes and that would be better than the current system. It's absolutely ridiculous.
