Something I put on my FB...thought you all might find it interesting...:)

I LEARNED SOMETHING LAST NIGHT AT BIBLE STUDY THAT SHOCKED ME YET AT THE SAME TIME I WASN’T SURPRISED….I went to a new bible study since my regular one is off for a few weeks and this new one just started what is called “THE TRUTH PROJECT”…Something that is right up my alley right now…TRUTH, BALANCE and LOVE…that is my message. Anyway, I missed the first video, the one last night was on “A World View vs A Biblical One”…and the guy in the video said that only 9% (and the video came out in 2004) of evangelical Christians have a true biblical view, that most have adopted a world view and most all of us (I know I’ve been there) at one time or another do. We are bombarded through all our senses and the media and peer pressure even as adults to do what seems easy and feels good.

If one truly has a biblical view, one that requires that we live “outside” the box…worldly philosophy lives within the box, because it has taken GOD OUT OF IT. There are NO answers to be found in the box, only outside. And God gave us His word as a road map to find HIM, He who made the box (these are my own words, but same principle)…see, bottom line is God is the STANDARD of all things, He is TRUTH and He cannot go against WHO HE IS…how long have I said this? God is Holy, Righteous and Just, yet He is Loving Merciful and Kind (thank you Dr. Whitaker for always preaching this foundational TRUTH)…why?...because it all boils down to His nature. He cannot contradict Himself, nor can He lie.

What is the meaning of PHILOSOPHY?...The instructor in the video pointed out the meaning has changed over the years as more and more man took God out of the meaning and added more of a world view to now mean this....

1 : the study of the basic ideas about knowledge, truth, right and wrong, religion, and the nature and meaning of life
2 : the philosophical teachings or principles of a person or group <Greek philosophy>
3 : the general principles of a field of study or activity <the philosophy of history> <the philosophy of cooking>
4 : someone's basic beliefs about the way people should live

Thing is human wisdom is trying to find the answers within the box that God made, never looking to the SOURCE. As long as we do that we become the authority of what is RIGHT and WRONG…majority rules. And then we wonder why our country is in the mixed up mess it is in?...pretty soon nothing will make sense!

Christians need to get back to a BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW, one based on true wisdom that which comes from God and not our feelings.

It is easy to discern who is who...

...when it comes to a world biblical view versus the Biblical world view, it is as easy as telling the difference between an orange tree and an apple tree.

World biblical view folks are almost for sure going to be apologetic; politically correct; tolerant; and excepting of anyone person, regardless of their lifestyle, so long as they agree together that the God they serve is the God who loves everyone, regardless of how they live their life in the present. These folks do not care about a believer bearing fruit according to Galatians 5:22-26.

Instead, they preach that God loves EVERYONE, and there is no way a loving God could ever condemn one of his creations to hell. God accepts us all, because he knows we are all born with vices, that he is willing to overlook those vices so long as they worship him and hold him in high esteem.

In other words, God is the worlds "Sugar Daddy!"

Let me toss out the entire text as the work and fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5: 19-26, "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

For some strange reason, the world biblical view folks have tossed out these sins against the flesh, saying God does love them and therefore, accepts them, so long as they are trying to change. HOWEVER, they place little emphasis on repentance, remorse, absolution, being born-again, water baptised and living a life that is heading in a completely new direction, away from these sins against the flesh. The world biblical view puts more emphasis upon church membership, and brotherly love. Kum By Ya is their theme song, as they join hands with their brethren and walk hand-in-hand down the highway to hell!

Some how, the remaining few verses of Galatians 5, is good, but not necessarily the definitive sign of a world biblical view convert's life, in fact, they put little emphasis upon the need to bear fruit that includes "...love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."

When I see a world biblical view believer I have to ask myself, "whatever happened to crucifying the flesh along with it's passions and desires, and living for Him?" However, how silly of me, to believe in that [crucifying the flesh and to go and sin no more] means to believe in the Biblical world view of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

You're probably right. I always have aid parents who overly strict and may even be abusive can PRODUCE better kids for they at least have the "fear of God' in them.....I'm a testament to that fact "RIGHT" was beat into me, although one of the boys didn't do so well....but he was bi polar like his mom. Not saying it didn't have it's effects on me (like skewed view of God sometimes etc) but overall, I think I have a better direction because of it.

    So yep I would agree...:)

Once God was Removed from School and....

:tear:...."Hell" was no longer talked about or preached on, the church got into big trouble!

Now everyone with the world biblical view of God sees him as a big ol' cuddly bear, somewhere in the sky above us. God, and everything about God is so generic and watered down, it is no wonder the masses that travel the highway to hell are having so much fun, and in lock step, denying anything the true believers try to share.

We are called judgmental and worse yet: homophobic, religious zealots. Fanatic, radicals who are narrow minded. Well at least that got something partially correct, becuse we are traveling on the Narrow Path!

Whatever? It is what it is, and I doubt if anything is going to change the growing gap between the world biblical view folks and Biblical world view folks. :tear:

a "Biblical World view' can still though be either under legalism/law, or under grace!

both would agree with same basic principles, but BIG difference on how they apply them into daily living!

I agree and is why I believe in balance...problem is most Christian do not know the bible they do not study it nor follow it...both extremes are at fault.
