"WHAT MAN MEANT FOR EVIL, GOD MEANT FOR GOOD"…This and Romans, 8:28 come to mind. But like I’ve said before your eyes will ONLY be able to see this truth and apply this truth as one draws closer to Christ, the sad things is as you draw closer to God others will draw away from you. Even Jesus said, “He didn’t come to bring peace, but division”….WHY?...because I guess it is just the “LAW” of physics, the law of attraction. We want to be around those who are more like us, but the sad truth is most are not really trying to DRAW CLOSER TO GOD…I know I’ve been there, and it seems easier, but as I look back I realize it is not. The bible says and I can attest to this fact that…Matt 7…”Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”…….I am going to talk about this TRUTH, especially truth in my life.

See, this all came to a head today and God gave me insight that sealed what I am going through. Again going back to TRUTH…why am I being so ATTACKED unfairly and unjustly on so many realms? Why am I NOT really being supported, supported because I am not doing or saying anything wrong…but standing up for TRUTH!..How did this concept get so skewed? I mean it would be one thing if someone could actually show me what I said or did was wrong, but they can’t. Not only that let’s say I did do or say something wrong?...then your job is to say something, not attack, or avoid, and then gossip about me. I can point to a bible verse or more that would prove my point. Why is that the “NORM’…in this world it seems the “wide gate that leads to destruction,” wins….or “The Majority Rules?....or “Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely”….how messed up is that? How ungodly is that? How can anything improve from that?..Those are some of my questions.

I am also reminded of this verse constantly. Eph 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”….this verse tied in with the one I just mentioned, “Watch out for wolves in sheep’s clothing”….so keeping these TRUTHS in my mind, I can look at an ATTACK or a DISSING OF ME…2 on facebook in one day, supposedly LEADERS???….why, because I speak the TRUTH and that is the NARROW way the bible says, so why am I surprised that there are so FEW who follow me when it comes to bible TRUTH?... or so few that I can find…God is showing me it is OK to be different…a TRUTH He instilled in me at a young age cause I had NO CHOICE and it’s never been my nature. So I am ok, with being who I am and make NO apologies for it. Everything I am is because of WHO God made me and ALL He has allowed me to go through…and He knew I would prevail, so He has allowed me to go through much…which makes me feel so privileged that He would choose such a vessel. He put me under SOUND leadership in a HEALTHY church…He gave me all the gifts and talents I have, He basically has done all the work as I YIELDED and SUBMIT to Him…that is TRUTH! …the bible does say that narrow is the way to truth and only a FEW find it. God has revealed to me, that since the world isn’t going that way, “here go, I send you”…but be prepared to face much resistance along the way, for the evil ones isn’t worried so much about those who are doing his bidding, even if it is sincere and under the guise of “good works”...He is seeking to devour the one doing the will of God.

As I am drawing closer to the 100 mark. I’m noticing a few things. One, I no longer have the same desires. Not saying I have arrived, but His desires are becoming mine and is what I have preached about…how we help people go about doing the right thing, no matter what sin they are in, be it in their mind, body or spirit, is what matters. I wasn’t able to draw closer to God (never have been able and maybe never will and I don’t think we are called to live in that state long) until the right people came along. I would have gotten worse or still be the same….ok, probably worse. Thing is it took those who held the same TRUTH about who I am in Christ and what God desires from His children, or just those who have sound character and integrity to get back on track. Thank you for you know who you are. It also took me realizing, that GOD really does LOVE ME and the fact that I am “DIFFERENT’ is what makes me more special.

It is because of you that I am able to with stand the fiery darts of the evil one. For automatically TRUTH is brought to mind, as to not react in the flesh. I can’t take it personal no matter how they try and make it…I am called to do what God tells me, not man. I actually see these people as God’s tools for “Iron to sharpen Iron’…for me to become “more like Christ”….”To know the truth that lies within me”….Not only that at the same time God is doing a major “WORK IN THEM”….So what if I’m not poplar, never have been ….(well maybe men…lol)…But then again no one is, no matter who they are, who stands up for right and wrong, for truth or just plain old do the right thing, we will be opposite of the norm. I guess it boils down to making choices and who you will follow? I choose to follow Christ and His ways and to those who follow Him also….if you want to tag along then you are more than welcome…if you treat me with plain old respect and decency you can come along too, if you have some character and integrity, come along as well, those who treat others the way they want to be treated, hop on board, those who accept me the way I am, flaws and all, who encourage me and edify me, sit next to me. Those who rightly call me out because they care about me and want to help me back on track with God and others, you’re in the driver’s seat.

Come on people this ride isn’t that hard nor is it that long. Anytime, you think to say or do something think “WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?”….I’m not perfect at always applying it, but it is my motto…for by this all people will know you are my disciples…STARTS WITH CHRISTIANS!

Someone needs to get over herself. Criticisms received for calling others tools of the Devil, labeling those who disagree with you as haters, and arrogantly promoting your own superior intelligence hardly qualify as attacks. People here have been more patient with you than most who act like you. Why are you not being supported when you spout your accusations and absurdities? If you truly want the answer, listen to the Haters.

I already did. It's just not acceptable to you.

Much of the criticism that you receive on BB is your own fault. It is not persecution for righteousness' sake.

    Speak Your Truth!
September 30, 2012 by Chris Assaad 10 Love Comments and 0 Love Reactions

Telling the truth isn’t always easy, but I believe that it’s the foundation of meaningful connection, closeness in relationships and genuine fulfillment in so many areas of our lives. Somewhere along the way, many of us have learned to keep our thoughts and feelings to ourselves out of fear that people will not love us if we tell them what’s really going on. While this approach may have served us in certain situations or up until a certain point, as we go deeper into our own spiritual journey and as we strive for a reality that reflects our highest potential, it’s ultimately the truth that will set us free.

Before I go any further, I should clarify that the word “truth” is subjective and in this context, I am referring to your truth. In order to speak your truth and share it with another, it’s first important that you’re able to be honest with yourself. Whether it’s an upset, a crush, an idea or an apology that needs to be expressed, the first step along the path to authentic communication is identifying what’s true for YOU. This part of the process is crucial and can often be challenging for a number of reasons. The truth can be scary sometimes because it can reveal to us that we need to take action in a direction that’s uncertain, such as walking away from a relationship that isn’t fulfilling or a job that’s not in alignment with our purpose. The same applies to expressing our true feelings for another and giving voice to our creative yearnings, both of which require us to put ourselves out there, to be open and vulnerable. Similarly, when we are communicating something that is not inherently positive, such as a disappointment or a point of contention with a friend, colleague or loved one, there are a few challenges that arise as well.

The first, especially for those of us on the Path who believe in taking responsibility for our perceptions, is to objectively determine if our grievance is well founded and see where it ‘s really coming from. Perhaps there’s an opportunity for us to own up to our part in a conflict, to put our egos aside and swallow some pride. We all know how difficult that can be! On the other hand, we may feel genuinely hurt by something or we may want to establish a boundary or standard in a particular relationship without necessarily blaming the other person and putting them on the defensive. In either case, being open and honest is the key to maintaining a clear space in our relationships and the way to do this is by being authentic in our communication and expressing from a place of love and a desire for harmony.

One of my favorite metaphors on this subject is the idea of the “elephant in the room” which represents the obvious truth that is not being addressed among a pair or group of individuals. I always picture two people wanting to be close and intimate being separated by a giant elephant! Whether it’s obvious or not, there is no question that the unspoken truths that we carry around and bury deep down live in the space between us. There is a distinct energy that comes from repressed upsets and emotions, as well as unexpressed love and creativity that creates a wall between us and others.

Beyond this, what we do not authentically explore within ourselves can have a negative impact on our own state of balance and our health. Harboring unacknowledged frustration, anger and resentment and not dealing with them appropriately can be toxic to our bodies and can be the beginnings of disease. I’m not suggesting that we go around unleashing the fury and breathing fire on other people. That said, it ‘s important to give ourselves space to vent and give voice to our darker emotions in healthy ways, such as journaling or communicating with someone who can hear us out but who is not involved in the situation.

As cliché as it may sound, I also can’t help but point out that life is short and tomorrow is never guaranteed. We may have the chance to express something today, but we never know if we’re going to get a next time. So let us not pass up the chance RIGHT NOW to make things right with those we love, to be honest with the people in our lives, to say “I love you”, to sing our song, to tell our story, to share our ideas and to speak our TRUTH!

Let’s be honest with each other. Is there something that you’ve been keeping to yourself that you know you need to express but don’t know how? Or better yet, is there something within you that you’re dying to express but haven’t because you’re afraid of how it will be received?

If you feel up to it, leave a comment below and let us support each other in opening up and expressing our truth.

    Thanks for reading!

    Much love,

    Chris

There is no "your truth," "my truth," etc. There is one truth.
Christ said, "I am the truth," and has revealed himself to us through the Scriptures. You have only directed us to a website describing relativism, which isn't truth at all.

I see you didn't get it lol

You have your own truth, problem is it is closed off because of many of the reasons mentioned.

    Thanks for proving our point!

My OP was MY TRUTH and one no one can successfully attack, cause it is WHO I am, all of what I write reflects who God has made me to be especially as I follow Him...then His truth becomes my truth as well.

    Pretty simple theology actually...

"Your truth" does not admit the possibility of being wrong, as has been aptly demonstrated. You won't admit to the FACT that 2+2=10 in a base four system. Even though it is a fact and mathematically correct you will say it is wrong.
But ignorance of the law is no excuse (even the laws of mathematics). Therefore not even to admit an "I don't know" possibility, but to deny the fact, you have sinned in your arrogance and shown that you don't have the truth.

    We'll address the OP.

Show me where you unfairly and unjustly attacked?

((Oh - and if you plan to be a writer, please hire someone to go through and correct your spelling and grammar. I can tell you right now that you could send that anywhere and no one would print it. Proper writing is important and validates your content.))

No, DHK, your reading comprehension is off.

    I said I wasn't good at complex math and said I only found on google 2 + 2 = 4 or 5...I could find nothing that said 2 + 2 = 10

not only that it is your job to prove I'm wrong or you are right and so far no one is able to Prove I am wrong so I must be right...;)
