...you could get out of your head? What songs play in your mind and you really don't like them at all --but you find yourself even humming or singing the loathsome tunes?

A friend of mine said a Sammy Davis song The Candy Man kept playing and playing and it was hard to stop himself from forgetting it.

I don't have this problem much but some other songs that fit the category are : Playground In mY Mind and It's a Small World.

    How about you?

The last song I heard on the radio....

    We're like fire and gasoline
    I'm no good for you
    You're no good for me
We only bring each other tears and sorrow

Got stuck on the Disney "small world" ride for 45 minutes... Whenever I hear that song, I want to go postal.

There's a country song by kenny Chesney that has a line "I'm gonna sit right here and have another beer in mexico and let the warm sun melt these blues away..." When I hear that, I keep singing it... has caused some strange looks at church on work days...

Usually the song I can't get out of my head is the last song I hear, but it depends on the song. Some songs (including ones I don't like) have such a catchy tune that it stays in my head, and I keep humming it over and over and driving myself nuts. I keep praising the Lord trying to get that irritating song to go away, but to no avail.

Why did you have to remind me??!?

I HATE this song, but find myself singing it sometimes. I used to like it, but after a few times it becomes agonizingly painful to listen to hear.

It ran through my head for a while a few days ago.

Now YOU must listen to it!! BWA-HA-HA!
