I'm curious as to what state you live in, if you live in the US.
LOUISIANA STATE SONG
by former Gov. Jimmy Davis
(who left a $50,000,000 state surplus when he resigned!)
"You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
when skies are gray.
You'll never know dear
how much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away!"
Scarlett O. - who wishes you could hear her singing to the top of her lungs!
You missed mine. I know I said California here, but it's really the State of Confusion...
In 1959, the Ohio legislature adopted the state's motto, "With God all things are possible."
The atheists are still mad & bitter about it.
But the state motto remains.
I stand my Southern California.
Welcome my West Coast Baptist Church, Vista.

I was going to say that... Ha Ha! Great minds think alike, or do they?...(get it?)
State of Confusion, U.S.A.
You forgot mine too. The state of Chaos! Actualy, i live in South Carolina, where eggs fry on the side walk! Praise the Lord fo A/c!
Finally! A poll with no ambiguous questions.
How about the State of Ambiguety, Or the State of Depression, The State of Hyper-sensitivity, The State of Aggitation, The State of Denial, The State of Lonliness, The State of Forgiveness, The State of Humbleness, and the best one....The State of Grace?

Don't Mess With Texas!
Remember the Alamo!
The State the Most Presidents are From!
The Eyes of Texas are Upon You!
The State with the most recognizabel shape!
Talking about "cooking eggs on the sidewalk - we cook steaks!!!!
Hey, we've been cooking eggs on Washington's
no-longer-green grass lately. Whew! It is so hot
here that I can't see across the street for the steam
It is so hot here that you don't have to light the
coals--just throw the steaks on the grill and let
them sit there for a few minutes. Gotta watch
'em, though, or there won't be any rare ones.
It's so hot here that all the pig farmers just have
bacon lying all around in their sties.
It is so hot here that the mosquitoes can't bite--
they're just lying around fanning themselves.
Did you know that if you drive around parts of Navada during the day you can watch the road burst into flames? No kiddin'.
As far as the comment about Texas being the state the most presidents are from... Isn't it also the state the most Miss America's are from ? lol
Also from a state with a recognizable shape
The State of Christian?
Aside from Lyndon Johnson and George Bush Junior and Senior, what presidents came from Texas?
Virginia has eight:
Of course, none of these fellows were the president of the Republic of Texas...
I was just about to post something very similar
BTW, this would be really interesting if more than 3,000 members voted. Or at least 1,000.
I know all the folks living in the Bayou State haven't voted yet, 'cause I've sure seen more than 3 floating 'round here! aaaiiiyyyeee~
I would ask every BB member to vote in this poll.
It would help us better understand where the majority of BB members live.
So far 51 members voted.
You mean I done good posting this poll, webmaster?
I live in Canada now, but I was raised in Delaware. Wasn't born there, nope; Mama and Dad lived in Delaware just a few miles from Philly when I was born, but I had to be born in a 'burb of Philly 'cause that's where the doctor was. But, deep down in my heart, I'm a Delawarean. So, do I get to vote? Do I, do I?
Oh, never mind, I've been up here so long now, no one ever asks me anymore if I'm 'Merkun.
I think I'll go have a good cry now.
