This is before my time, but I love your music.

It's funny, so many kids today love "our music." I took my son to a baseball game so we could see Kansas perform after the game. (Of course, I think they needed oxygen after each song.)

1979, and I hated the contemporary music of the time. (Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, ugh)

I listened to my dad's country records, and Motown radio.

    FYI....

Three Dog Night[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]
It refers to being cold. Often when ranchers or cowboys were out on the range they would have to sleep with their dogs to keep warm. A one dog night was a night when he had to share body heat with one dog, two dog night was two dogs and a three dog night was an extremely cold night where he would have to share body heat with three dogs. “how cold was it on your trip?” “It was a three dog night”.

'54, when fishtails were the cat's meow on Caddys!

And some guys rode around in summer with their windows rolled up to make the folk they passed on the street think they had (---drum roll----) AIR CONDITIONING!

    Gas was ~ $.30/gal, but milage was ~ 8-10/gal.

Had a friend that bought a VW bug, that got 18MPG on the road & that was absolutely fantastic.

Seems like a hunnert years ago now.

"they needed oxygen after each song."!!!!  :applause:
That is TOO funny, and too, too, true!!!

1976 for me, so I'm right in the thick of this. Loved all the music you ALL have listed, including the REAL oldies (Patsy Cline, Elvis, et.al.). I listened to EVERYTHING--even the stuff from the 40's coz that was what my mom loved--the Big Band Sound! (Yup, and even Perry Como!)

    1988...

Our Senior song was "Take a walk on the wildside" by Motley Crue...

We forgo the traditional "pomp and circumstance" and walked the walk to our senior song...

I always have walked to the beat of a different drummer!

You guys do realize this is Saggy's way of figuring out how old we all are, and she hasn't said when SHE graduated.

Class of 1983, and I really didn't listen to much music then or now for that matter so I couldn't tell you what was popular.

Bitsy you graduated the same year as my oldest sister.

Oh yea and I robbed the cradle when I married Jeanne she was class of 1988. Yup I was out of collage before she was out of High School.
