And none of them would be proven. This is the same boilerplate that we've seen over and over and over, albeit in "lite" form.

The NEW KING JAMES VERSION (nKJV)
    meets this Biblical criteria:

    2 Corinthians 2:17 (nKJV):
For we are not, as so
    many, peddling the word of
God; but as of sincerity, but as
from God, we speak int he sight
    of God in Christ.

We see clearly that the KJVO peddlers
are against the nKJV thus proving
that the nKJV is the pure innerrant
    word of the Living God.

    John 17:17b (nKJV):
    "Your word is truth."

Thus the nKJV testifies of itself
that it is the true word
of our Blessed Lord and Savior:
    Messiah Jesus.

This verse proves that the nKJV is
    the inerrant word of God!

Amen, Brother Ed Edwards -- Preach it!

Further, the nKJV speaks of itself
when it says, Jesus speaks of the
    nKJV when He says:

    Matthew 5:18 (nKJV):

    "For assuredly, I say to
    you, till heaven and earth
pass away, oen jot or one tittle
will by no means pass from the
    law till all is fulfilled.
    "

    This verse also proves that
the nKJV is the inerrant word of God!

    Steve K; Pure Words,
The fact is that the KJV bible is slowly being replaced by the superior modern versions. Regardless of all your arguments, it is just a matter of time till the KJV is retired along side other versions, such as the Geneva bible.
It must be upsetting to realize that there is nothing you can do about it. If the Lord tarries another 100 years, even your very own offspring will be using a modern version, maybe even the New New International Version.

The New King James Version contains
the words of Jesus who said
    in Matthew 24:35 (nKJV):

    Heaven and earth will
pass away, but My words will
    by no means pass away.

The nKJV is the true words
    of Jesus and thus contains
the inerrant written word of God!

I'm sure you COULD go on all day. But the fact is your views are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. And I wonder why any of us waste time responding to these views.

Terry you and the Devil both wish that the KJV would be done away with but no way.The truth is they have had to come up with 250 new versions just to find someone to read them. Those seeking the Book with God's blessing on it stay with the KJV!!

Steve, you ignore the fact that, by placing faith in the 1611 KJV as the ultimate biblical authority, you place it higher than the texts from which it was translated, which is heretical.

All in all, I cannot remember such a concentrated anti-MV blathering on so many threads at one time, even if the anti-MV "arguments" are the exact same repetition and cut-and-paste material on all the threads in question.

    Makes me wonder why
i bother to post here. The anti-MV
    blathering totally ignores my arguments/points.
They must be cutting their replies
    from the how-to-do-it-book at some
    anti-MV board.

Makes one wonder about their intellectual
level. Note this is a generalization
and not a specific comment about any particluar
person. However, i still get a tad bent
out of shape at the Bible bashers bashing
my Holy Bible: the New King James Version
    (nKJV1982).

Pure Words: "He (God) knew which
    nations would send missionaries
    to the africans who were
    eating each other."

In 1982 the number of African Christians
    equaled the number of
North American Christians. In the past
ten years i've seen more missionaries
    FROM Africa than TO Africa.
Maybe the written word of God is now
    written in Zulu? [IMG]

Also in 1982 the nKJV was first published.
Therefore the nKJV is the inerrent written
word of God for the Twenty-first Century.

Alex Mullins: "The NKJV translators put in
the footnoes of the Study editions
that the source texts also included
the corrupt Critial or Minority Text
of Westcott and Hort ... "

This is a correct statement except
    "corrupt" is the authors opinion.

    Regarding the Sinaitic and Vatican
    manuscripts, the Preface to
the nKJV says: " ... some scholars have reason
to doubt their faithfulness to the
    autographs".

The nKJV is faithful in it's footnotes
and Preface. By contrast, many editions
of the KJV do not have translator foot notes
(as did the AV) or translator preface (as
did the AV). I've never seen any explanation
of why the "translators" of the
KJV1873 even bothered to change the KJV1611.
    Total dishonesty in the KJV camp;
total honesty in the nKJV camp.
The nKJV is not deceptive and the
the true and inerrent writeen word
of God preserved error free for our
    generation.
