So are you saying he's not born again? Are are you authorized to judge his salvation?

He didn't just "claim" to be a Christian. He gave a testimony. We can complain about his fruits until we've got jam. I ceratinly have done that. But that doesn't change the fact that he's born again.

You must be equal with God, then, John, if you know that for a fact.

Fine, let the POTUS issue greeting to Native Americans on Native American holidays. Let him do so on Christian holidays. Let him do so on Muslim holidays.

BTW, wasn't the first Rosh Hashana greeting also given by Clinton? I may be wrong on that.

John, you stated it is a "fact." How do you know this "fact?" Anyone can claim they are born-again and even say all the right words in a testimony. It's done all the time. In Prisons. In Churches. By people running for public office. By people fleecing the sheep.

"Why, in over 200 years in this country, wasn't it done until the Clinton administration?"
"
Because slick Willy was the first who realized there was such a thing as a Moslim vote?
Remember the 1 quality that all presidents in US history have had in common?
The willingness to sell their own grandmother's into slavery to score the right kind of votes. [IMG]

Disappointing to say the least. I thought they had been doing that since Roosevelt. And I mean Teddy Roosevelt.

First, there's no indication that he believes that.

</font>
Except for his now infamous interview on ABC before the last election where he said that we are all going to heaven by our own roads.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=193746&page=1

However, upon a fresh reading just now he never said that they are going to heaven, just that we pray to the same God. It COULD be taken to mean that their prayers are not heard.

Like it or not, a nation is not Christian. It is a nation of peoples. Not to support Mr. Bush, but he is the president of all America and he must represent all equally.

Secondly, he is dealing with the world, and must be careful not to alienate other religions, especially when trying to do something in a Muslim nation.

Cheers,

Jim

Can you give us a "quote" from "Dubya"--- along the Christian Christmas and Easter greetings!! IOW---Has Dub greeted Christians in our Christmas and Easter seasons in the same fashion??

I'm just askin'---I'm not tryin' to be sarcastic or nothin'!!

</font>
I find it intresting that he's getting to heaven on his personal walk. Sounds like a man convinced of his good works.

I've Googled and am unable to find an official White House message/greeting from President Bush re: Christmas. There is a generic Christmas card, but that isn't the same thing. As far as Easter, don't have time to research that right now. Perhaps someone else will be able to find results.
