I believe the Bible as it is. Therefore I believe Melchizedek didn't have father, nor mother, nor end of life, nor beginning of days, made like unto Son of God.

You don't believe he had no father, but believe Melchzedek had a father, you don't believe what Bible says that he had no mother, but believe that he actually had a mother, you don't believe that he had no end of life as Bible says, but beleive that Melchizedek had the end of life on contrary to the Bible.
What you believe is totally different from what Bible says.

The Bible would never indicate that Christ came in the spirit of Melchizedek whether or not Melchizedek was a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ. Christ came in His own spirit not that of any man.

The text does not indicate that Melchizedek was anything but a momentarily appearing human similar to the 3 men that stopped at Abraham's tent on the way to Sodom. That does not require birth or death only that He took on a human form to accomplish a specific purpose at a specific time. Similar to the 4th man in the fiery furnace in Daniel.

Elijah was a man with from start to finish, he had a recorded birth and while not a standard death, an end to his earthly life. Melchizedek has no recorded birth and no account of his death. Other references indicate that he wasn't born and didn't die.

The bible calls him King of Righteousness, but no man is righteous. It calls him King of Peace, but there is only one who could hold that title as well.

All of these indicators point to a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ which in no way means that He dwelled on the earth or was born and died at that time.

Melchizedek was the king of Salem - not the king of the Universe.

Mechizedek merely received a tithe from Abraham - he never stated that he was YHWH nor did he receive worship from Abraham. In ALL cases where the pre-incarnat Christ "appeaers" He is God the Son - in fact He is sometimes called The Angel of the Lord - and in all cases He is feared and worshipped.

Never is He called "The king of some tiny town"

The text of Heb 7 says "Made like unto" indicating similar attributes for the purpose of illustration - it does not mean "this was God the Son".

The point in Heb 7 is to show that "IF HE were on earth He would not be a priest AT ALL" Heb 8:4 -- and to claim that under a new priesthood a CHANGE takes place - where the blood sacrifices of bulls and goats are no longer in use - but the blood of Christ alone is used!!

How hard is it to miss this?

    In Christ,

    Bob

Jewish material in the Talmud states that Melchizedek was Shem, a son of Noah. The timing fits.

And you merely bespeak your ignorance of language, I have provided hard Lexical evidence concerning the meaning of the Greek which backs what I and others have stated, where as you have tried to do an end around on grammatical rules and simple dictionary definitions. Now either prove represents actually means "the same" or give up this preposterous notion you keep spouting.

Jewish Talmud says sometimes Shem, some other Talmud says Grandson of Canaan. Ethiopian Pentateuch says Shem or King of Canaanites. DSS also connects Melchizedek with Isaiah 52:7 which is about the Gospel, and Psalm 82:1-2 which is about the judgment of the people. They saw Melchizedek as Judge on the Final Day.

Shem was so famous that every one knew about his genealogy, his birth, his death, his beginning, he was never mentioned as King of Righteousness.

Dead Sea Scrolls say Melchizedek will declare Jubilee to the debtors as Dt 15:2, Lev 25:9-13.
Also Dead Sea Scrolls say Melchizedek will liberate the prisoners as Isaiah 61:1-3, declare the Year of Melchizedek ( instead of LORD's) and is the Anointed as in Daniel 9:25-6. Apparently they regarded Melchizedek as Messiah.

But the main point is that we should accept the Bible statements as they are: He has no end of life, but remains continually as Priest.

    Who is this fourth man?

    Daniel 3:25
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

    Is he son of Nebchadnezzar?
    Is he Daniel ? or
Is he another friend of Daniel?
Is he Son of God ?

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full F24 of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most F25 mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, F26 their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment F27 was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, F28 Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth F29 of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Heb Writer is talking about this for the period while Leviticus Priests were in service . It means that Jesus didn't have to be the Priest here on earth while His shadow was working.
At that time when Abraham met Melchizedek, Levy priests were in the loins of Abraham. We must consider Abraham was not under the Mosaic law and the writer is talking about this.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ worked from time to time during the OT times?

    Who is this angel ?

11 And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I. 13 I am the God of Bethel , where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.

Which angel was the God at the House of God?
