I am on a site and have read a hundred or so profiles plus done keyword searches,etc.. what I have discovered is a multitude of people on this one site professing Christ yet never speaking at all about their faith in their profile. No mention of Jesus, the Bible, God or anything. This tragedy is within the Denver CO metro area and I have to wonder who is responsible. Who had told all these people that they are a Christian by saying a prayer, joining a church, or even worse being born a Christian. Yes I read a profile of someone that claims to have been born a Christian.

This is what happens when Lordship salvation is not preached. I'd say the pastors are primarily responsible for all these false converts roaming the churches in Denver. Whenever I open air I always try to use the law to convict of sin and I always try to emphasize Lordship salvation so I do not consider myself responsible for this.

More likely these people consider themselves to be Christians because they were baptized as an infant. If so, they could sit under Lordship salvation preaching for decades and still be lost.

And no one would have thought you were responsible.

The site differentiates between Catholics and protestants so I wonder what type of churches are Baptizing as a infant and telling people they are saved after. Do you know?

I am glad no one has blamed me and others that do street evangelism in Denver. But it makes me wonder about easy believism and it's message. Once I heard a open air preacher preach this deception.

Your on a dating site before the ink has hardly any time to dry on your divorce and your concerned about other people's profiles? The Way of the Master likes to ask people if they have ever looked with lust because they have then committed adultry in their hearts. Jesus also makes it clear that anyone that divorces his wife absent of infidelity and marries another is committing adultry. "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” Matt 19:9

You should be more concerned with yourself looking to commit adultery by getting remarried contrary to the commands of the Lord than what these women's profile say.

Wooooo wait a minute....so you have decided that these people are false converts as a result of saying a prayer because they do not have information about their faith in their profile? Really?

I can't speak for all but I am concerned about those that profess the name of Christ yet never speak about him.

One might say, based on what your ACTIONS say, you may not be surrender to Christ, particularly in His Lordship.

What's a greater atrocity, a misrepresented profile page or a misrepresented lifestyle?

So, let me get this right.....you believe that because they do not speak of Him in their internet profile they are lost because they said a prayer? Is that what I am to understand?

Let's also not get overly dramatic. An atrocity is defined as: an extremely wicked or cruel act, typically one involving physical violence or injury. I don't think I would use a term like that - a term that is used for the burning of women and children alive in a church in Syria - for a few women on a dating sight.

Excuse me but leading a sinner astray is a very cruel and wicked act.

Yes, leading people astray is cruel, however, I believe she was saying that having a profile page that isn't to your liking isn't an atrocity.

Isn't to my liking? So its okay to profess the name of Christ and call yourself a Christian, yet never speak about him publicly? No matter how many hundred times you deny this this is EXACTLY what you just said.

this from the man who is trying to make a distinction between Mark 16:15 and Matt 28.

Worse than abandoning and divorcing his wife without scriptural reason?

Are you 100% certain they never speak of Christ?

Also, wasn't aware that I was making any assertion, I was clarifying a poster's sentiments. And I apologize to her if I was incorrect in my clarification.
