I certainly do not understand how repeated sin that one seems to almost revel in - in this case the use of Mr. Obama's middle name as a rhetorical weapon - is in any sense "repented of". I thought repentance involved an actual turning away.

You and I have different understandings about who will appear before the judgement seat and what will be at stake. Unless people want to pursue that issue, I will let it drop for now.

Wow, So now it is a sin to use Barry's middle name. [IMG]

It's called nit picking. An opinion that doesn't have "substance."

Thank you Brother Curtis for your posts. I wish you were still a moderator here. :tear:

Yep, the dialog here is very mature and rational. If you are 3 years old, that is.

Then I suppose your understanding fits the dialogue perfectly. :tonofbricks:

I thank you fro your compliment.

It is ludicrous to base my vote on what foreigners think about the election.

BTW, I assume by the title you meant Commander-in-Chief?

Because those threads die. No one seems to want to talk about substance. It is more important to talk about where Obama went to school when he was 6, his middle name, or who the "foreigners" want to see as president. I have also on numerous occasions listed the substantive reasons why I could never support Sen Obama.

Fair enough. While I think it is silly and petty to keep using the name 'Hussein' I hardly see Biblical reasons to call it sin.

This is something that we will just have to disagree on. I believe foreigners do not have our best interest at heart, politically, religiously, or nationally.
IMO, to believe that would be naive, Commander in Chief. :D

Anytime, you're welcome fro the compliment!

    Immune to correction?

You mean being called a "liar" kind of correction?

You mean "correction that is not grounded in scripture" kind of correction?

I happily invite any and all moderators to engage in these discussions. I trust that they will not add to the total of times that I have been called a liar - now at 4 in the last 2 weeks or so.

Now I wonder why that is. Two possibilities spring to mind:

    1. I am in fact a liar

    2. I am not a liar and people are frustrated with material that I post and they respond by calling me a liar out of anger and frustration.

I will no longer report posts in which I am called a liar. So go nuts, guys, go nuts.

During several discussions about his associates, an issue I believe has substance, people came in and said we were doing it only because we did not want a black president. (Now that same poster comes here and says the dialogue is childish) I think you have to admit several threads have been shut down due to name calling so those of us who actually do want to talk substance do not get to. Hardly a fair debate tactic, but it does get their desired result. Call the O/P racist, and you don't have to address anything in it.

Andre's posts have no business in a bible ministry, and I think most of us want him gone. When you side with him on that, and remain silent on his extra-biblical insistances.......

OTOH, I have no business telling you where to post, and on what subjects to post on, and for doing so, I was wrong, and apologize for it.

But I do believe you will end up banning either Andre, or myself, and am willing to settle for both. His lies have no business representing a bible ministry, and the discord he so obviously came here to sew has more than fulfilled what the bible says it will do. He needs to go.

    Until Obama actually gives us something to be substantive about I just keep on driving Maggy and Andre nutty with;

Hussein Hussein Hussein  [IMG]

But Roger it is just too much fun.

Which "extra-biblical insistances"? Let's address any one you wish. The readers will be waiting to see if you back up this accusation with something substantial.

Point out one instance where I have made an extra-Biblical claim and let's discuss the Scriptures. Either in this thread or one of your own choosing.

Hiding behind a keyboard and calling people liars is easy. What takes real guts is to stand behind your convictions.

Show me where and how I have mis-interpreted the Bible and stop hiding behind the tired "Andre is a liar" accusation.

Define someone of foreign descent. If you go back far enough all of us except pure bred American Indians are foreigners. I'm about 2/3 Irish and 1/3 English but my ancestors on both sides came over in the late 1600's. My mother belongs to the DAR. My father's family was at Jamestown. Am I a foreigner? America was founded to welcome emigrants. Is the Republican Right trying to change that?
