Doesn't seem very honest, plus, yer setting yourselves up for a big dissapointment, when he gets about .5% of the primary votes.

And the last statement of yours isn't worth a retort.

24 originally cast Chuck Norris to play Jack Bauer. There were two problems with this:
    1. It would have been autobiographical for Chuck Norris.
    2. The producers shot the first twenty-four hours and couldn't figure out what to do with the remaining 23 hours and 39 minutes.

I won't be disappointed. Considering how socialistic(Democrat Lite) the Republican Party has become during the George W. Bush presidency such a vote total as that for a limited, constitutional government Republican such as Ron Paul is exactly what I would expect.

You, but nobody else, apparently. Everyone else seems to be telling me he should be measuring for curtains.

I think it is just some Polly Anna-ism by some Ron Paul supporters. I can't blame them. Years ago I used to be the same way about elections until reality set in.

That's a good observation. I'm sure it'll come down to Rudy & Hillary.

I trust none of them completely and hardly any of them much at all. There's not one among them nor any of the Democracts for sure that I consider worthy of my one vote. I want much more than any of these candidates have to offer.

How much better can you get than Ron Paul?

Last I heard, Jesus wasn't running yet.

As far as getting this country back on the right track, and out of bancruptcy, Ron Paul is the only choice out of those running. I trust him to do what he says because his record in office for the past 20+ years tells me he means what he says and says what he means. Is he perfect? No. Do I agree with all his positions? No. Can he be trusted to follow through with his promises? Absolutely, I believe he will.

We voted for Bush in 2000 because he was telling us, basically, the same things that Dr. Paul is. Why is it in 2007 so many bash Dr. Paul for those same stances? Limited government, non-interventionism... Bush ran on this platform in 2000 and won. It's too bad he didn't stand by his word.

I hope conservatives haven't become complacent and comfortable with big government and policing the world.

I'm not going to "bash" Ron Paul at all because I do believe he has a lot of good ideas. He's a good man and has been a good Representative in Washington for his district of Texas. He is markedly different that the other candidates and I like him for that in itself. I've known about him for a long time and read much of what he's written.

As far as limited federal government is concerned he doesn't even go one tenth the distance I think we need to go but we're in full agreement on the direction march! I absolutely do not agree with his views on the War in Iraq - a very big issue for me - and don't completely agree with his views on foreign trade.

Those that are strongly advocating Ron Paul as the "only" choice have a lot more selling to do to convince the voters. For now, I'm just holding out for a better candidate.

As for Jesus, I'll be glad when He does come again and it's great to know we don't even have to vote on that. He'll just come when He's ready and catch us all by surprise!
