I am called to proclaim God's word to a dying world...

I am not being dramatic... Murderers will go to Hell... nothing dramatic about that.. .those that help murderers will be guilty also.

I am not being Judgmental... I don't have to be.. God's word has already judge right from wrong. Murderers go to Hell.

Just read it.. I am sorry you feel that God's word can be trampled on by your liberal views, and your support of abortion...

I am just warning people that unless they repent of your support for murderers, you will stand before God with blood on your hands.

As God's minister to this world, I am constrained to do so.. I have no choice...
    Abortionists are murderers...
Those that support the right to abortion support murder...
Those that vote for pro-abortion candidates will have to give account in judgment why they supported the right to kill innocent babies in the name of choice....

If you feel comfortable spitting in God's face by supporting abortion... be my guest. It is you that has to stand before God for things you choose to do.

I have my own faults to account for.. but voting for baby murderers will never be one of those faults...

I don't post much, but I felt led to post in this topic, I think the reasons that everyone has given here are valid, and that is very sad. As Christians, we should be evangelizing and teaching our neighbors in the way Christ Jesus would have us, mainly by living our lives the way that we are led by God to live, but there are other ways of witnessing as well, we need to be considerate of peoples feelings, and do our best to help as many as we can.

A long time ago, my wife and I decided that we didn't want children. That thought hasn't changed, but we also spent much much time in prayer, ultimately telling God "not my will, but thy will." By saying that, we were telling God, no, we would prefer not to have children, however, if it is in His will, then we will do it without argument.

In recent months my wife has developed a slight hormonal disorder and became pretty ill because of it, and after many tests, the answer was she had to go on birth control, not to prevent pregnancy, but to regulate her hormones and cause healing. We spent much time in prayer over that and God has blessed her, and us with the healing that she needed. We continue to tell each other the reasons for the contraceptives, not to prevent pregnancy, but to regulate her medical problems, if we feel led to have a child one day, I will definitely find a way to follow through with Gods will, weather I like it or not.

In closing, I would like to say that we need to pray for the women that have abortions, in many cases, the after affects cause many serious emotional problems. We need, as Christians, to minister to these people, bring them to Christ if we can, and deciple these people. They need to know that no matter what they are loved. We should show the love to them that Jesus would show. What's done is done, and you can't unscramble the egg, but you can make an impression on someone that would change the rest of their life, and allow their soul to not be eternally condemned. While reading over my post, I was reminded of a passage of scripture:
    Emphasis mine.
    Todd

Defending life through war is honorable.

    God honored war...

1 Sam. 23:1-5, God told David and his misfit army to go fight the Philistines in defense of Keilah...

Do you think he meant to fight them with marshmallow guns?
    No, the Philistines attacked Keilah...
David and his men destroyed the Philistines in Keilah...

God condoned it... heck he ordered them to do it...

Just like God ordered Saul to destroy all of the Amalekites...
    1 Samuel 15:2-3
    (2) Thus says the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
    (3) Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.

Comparing our military to murderous scumbags that murder babies just because the mother wants them to, is slandering our military men and women...

I am proud of our armed forces...
    They are NOT murderers...
    They are protecting us...

They got rid of the scum Hussein who destroyed his own people...

And as for the Taliban, have you forgotten 9-11.. and how they laughed in our faces?

And in the case of Iran, we are protecting Israel... How dare Imadangnutjob threaten God's chosen people...
We have the right to wipe them off the map if they attack Israel.. no,...not the right, but the duty!

But just because a teen can't control herself on a date does not mean she should be allowed to murder her baby!

You should be ashamed for comparing our military to murderers!

Liberals never cease to amaze me.

OK, this item is a "double meaning" item.

At face value, one could at least say..."OK, if it's between having the mother die, and having the baby die, we have a dilemma..."

However, when abortion advocates bring up "the health of the mother," it includes the very wide, nebulous, and unverifiable "mental health" of the mom. And, mental health goes much wider than post-partum pyschosis...it goes to the realm of "she can't handle the stress of pregnancy/childbirth/childraising." So, in the abortion-rights playbook, if the mom "emotionally can't handle the pregnancy," then it's OK to kill the baby....er, "terminate the pregnancy."

Pro-abortion advocates such as Planned Parenthood and NARAL pull this garbage all the time. That's their favorite line for justifying infanticide, otherwise known as "partial birth abortion."

Is that your tactic? Only you know. But, I'm sure you're familiar with the tactics of pro-abortion advocates long enough to understand.

It's rare that a poster gets under my skin.

I have a good time with, and get along with, posters that are pretty far left politically/socially of me (as well as many who are far to the right of me).

But I have to call you out on this.

You posted the above invective, so I feel it's only fair that I remind the folks here what you said of Palin's 17 year-old pregnant daughter:

Um...before you go accusing folks of being "judgemental," you might want to clean up 'round that porch of yours. If you're going to slam folks for being "judgemental and dramatic," then let's be fair and stay away from the behavior yourself.

It's seldom that I speak this harshly against a poster...but I feel it's very well deserved in this case.

Has anyone here done any research on Eugenics and Planned Parenthood...
It seems like PP could be trying to get rid of minorities and the poor....

How many rich people actually go to the Health department for help?

When me and my wife first started out, we had to get WIC... and had to go to the health department for help... you would be surprised (well maybe not) at the brainwashing that goes on there... And PP is in control of it all... Pamphlets from PP were always stuffed down our throats....

The Poor are the ones that are being marketed by the abortion industry...

And the liberals say they stand for the poor. hogwash....

The idea of Eugenics is to get rid of the least among us...
It is the same Idea that Hitler had, and Illinois had back at the turn of the 20th century...

This idea evolved into Planned parenthood... check out the history of PP for yourself... you will see the connection...

There are some in our country that wants to get rid of the poor and minorities, and if they can convince them to abort their babies... they will succeed.

Newsflash--we're living under the New Covenant not the Old. Christ said that we live by the sword we'll die by the sword. War should be for defense only and as a last resort. We shouldn't be in the business of exporting democracy (or Christianity) at gunpoint.

I'm not comparing our military to murderous scumbags. Our GOVERNMENT/CORPORATE ESTABLISHMENT through its interventionist foreign policy of aggressive war (which serves the interests of the elites and not us) is acting in a murderous fashion. The war was unneccessary. If our government was actually interested in "honorably" "defending life through war" they would have done something about Darfur or Rwanda. But neither of those regions were of any concern strategically to our ruling elite, despite the thousands murdered in genocide. The Middle East of course is another story...

Unlike the theocratic nation of Israel in the OT, the USA doesn't have a direct mandate from God to conquer other nations and destroy many lives ("collateral damage")---although many here seem to think that 'W' (and now McCain) have such a prophetic role.

With all due respect, as much as I admire the willingness of these young men and women to serve our country, how exactly are they 'protecting us' in Iraq? Iraq wasn't a threat to our security. That nation had ZERO connection to the attacks of 9-11.

I'm proud of our men and women in armed forces--too bad they are being poorly served by our foreign policy which led them into an unnecessary war. I'm saddened that over 4000 patriotic men and women lost there lives in this unjust and unnecessary war, and that thousands of others are maimed physically and mentally. And that thousands of families of these soldiers are suffering with them. And that four million Iraqis (also made in God's image and for whom Christ died) have been displaced, and that anywhere from 50 to 500 thousand have lost their lives as a result of the carnage resulting from the war. Fortunately there are Iraqi veterans who are speaking out against the true nature of this war.

But many more of his own people have been destroyed since the war started? Also, a half a million of his people died as results of US sanctions on Iraq. We also forget that it was our GOVERNMENT that helped arm Hussein as a counterbalance against Iran just a couple of decades ago.
There are many dictators in this world who destroy their own people--should we get rid of them all, or only the ones that don't tow the line?

One could make a case for overthrowing the Taliban because they were actually tied to Al-queda. (Too bad we're spread thin and bogged down there). And why in the world did we not get the one actually responsible for 9-11--Bin Ladin? Instead our government has used 9-11, as awful as it was, as a pretext to invade any Middle Eastern nation they wished. This was the neo-cons' "Pearl Harbor"--the excuse they needed to implement the agenda of "benign global hegemony" detailed in the Project for the New American Century.

Why are we protecting Israel? They got enough nukes to wipe Iran off the map if they wanted (and I pray they don't decide to do that).
And you may be unaware that Ahmedenijad, as nutty as he is, does not have the supreme power in Iran.

No, we don't--Israel could defend themselves. And by the way, the modern nation of Israel is NOT "God's chosen people". The CHURCH (the New Israel) is now God's Chosen people.

Where did I say that??? I am pro-life: I'm against abortion, euthanasia, and unjust aggressive wars.

    I didn't.

Too bad I'm not a liberal--I'm actually a paleo-conservative. War as manifested by our interventionist foreign policy ain't conservative, regardless of what all the neo-con cheerleaders may say.

How does that refute the FACT that we are living under the New Covenant and not the OLD? (On second thought, get back to me after you shop for your kosher groceries and make your daily sacrifices in the temple. )

The OT account of Israel and it's dealings with the surrounding nations, particularly the example of the Amalekites, is not an mandate for the USA to go therefore and do likewise today in its foreign policy, particularly since WE have so much that God could rightfully judge us for.

    Fair enough, Tim.

I just wanted it to go on record that there are anti-war conservatives out there...I'm one. (And by "anti-war" I don't mean "pacifist" or even "anti-military").

Thank you for your concern, but I don't care what you think of me, my actions, or my beliefs. I give you the freedom to differ, give me the same. Anything else you feel I need to hear, please avail yourself of the PM services.

Of course you have the freedom to differ. I don't recall anywhere in my posts that I proposed removing that "freedom" from you (as if I could).

But when you castigate another for "judgementalism," (I guess for stating that killing babies is sinful...imagine that!) while at the same time you attack a 17 year-old girl and use her pregnancy as a political platform...there's just a bit of hypocrisy there.

I see no need to PM you about this, being as your posts (particularly regarding the pregnant 17 year-old) were quite public.

As I've said before...I enjoy discussions with all political stripes on here. Even some of your fellow Obama supporters and I get along just fine.

But you've gone beyond political differences and simply made some statements that shouldn't be made.

    Just MHO.

Thank you for your gracious apology. And while we're on the subject, forgive me for allowing my anger to get the best of me. I can disagree with you without being mean about it. Sorry I crossed the line.

And now...I must run. I "tweaked" my back yesterday (I have 2 fractured vertebrae...kind of a chronic thing) and I'm about to take some pain medication...if I stay on here, I might not make any sense.

Of course, some might say, that I might make more sense that way...
    :wavey:

    Ya'll be blessed.
