I've seen it re-enacted, and yes, a guy who knew his weapon, could get three shots off, no problem.

I'll tell you, guys like Oliver Stone don't help. He asks way more questions then he answers.

I have a hard time believing that a mob-connected strip club owner would volunteer to spend the rest of his life in jail.

The burden of proof should be on the ones trying to prove the Warren Commision wrong.

I could do it. No problem. Anyone skilled in firearms and marksmanship could.

Bottom line is that, while it is entirely possible that there was a conspiracy to murder Kennedy and that there could possibly have been another shooter, all takers have had 45 years to prove it and no one has.

So it remains a "theory" and nothing else.

Theories may be great entertainment and salve for the conscience of gullible skeptics, but facts rule.

I'm waiting for his response, I'll get one, he always answers.

But I did find this, it may not go as far as you want, but here goes....

How effective would a national ID be in controlling illegals?Ray Holbrook, SEATTLE
It probably would be effective, but I'm a little leery of a national ID, simply because the government might know more about me or you than they need to. But I think you should make a Social Security card that can't be fraudulently reproduced. That's different from making every human here have some sort of mark of the beast on them. (Laughs.)

I'm in big trouble, cuz I lost my S.S. card a long time ago. I do have a valid passport, and a Mexican work visa.

Now, I do have to wonder why the Warren Commission sealed their findings, if things happened the way they claimed. I guess we'll see in a few years.

However, when I was in high school, I placed third in the state in rifle competitions. Then, I got better with age. I have been known to win bets (both placed by myself or placed by those who know me) with shooting. I'm not as good now as I once was, but I am good. (This is not intended to be bragging, but a statement that I am a skilled marksman.)

One of those bets (I have since repented, so no need to lecture me about gambling), I took an antique (1911) Russian model 91/30 with no scope, and made 3 consecutive quick shots and had a better grouping than the fellow who made the bet made with is modern 7mm, and he took his time.

Some people do have the ability to make shots like that, even using old bolt action rifles.

I would hazard to say that anyone who planned an assassination such as this would have that ability, or he would try to blow the guy up or something. I don't think that someone who was incompetent with a rifle would say, "I'm going to lay these complicated plans that would require me to hit a moving football at 100 yards."

Closing this per previous notice. Feel free to open another thread on the Kennedy assassination, preferably in the History Forum.

    Thanks, LE
