I just can't figure out Argentina. They have so much talent and just can't perform. In the WC qualifying last time around they dominated the CONEMBOL. Save for the recent Olympic gold medal, they just can't seem to get a win when it is important. [IMG]

The reason I said "futbol" is because I live with my Mexican bro-in-law and that is how he says it. What are statistics? They give credit to individuals for their stellar performances. Rewards based on work. The opposite of socialism. The reason they don't have pads is that they can't afford them in those countries. And yes, every country outside of the US is a third world country. Especially Canada. They aren't big into any sports that don't give in when there's fighting to be done (see: NHL season).

well anyway, what do you think multi - billionaire Abrahamovic will do for Chelsea off season for the third world sport only played by poor people? i would think Eto'o would be a good buy, but Barcelona will ask for a pretty penny.

Any sissy can fight wearing an armour-load of body protection....put half of those players straight into a fight with a big aussie rules tough nut or hurling/rugby toughie, and see how they fair. Half of these players are skinny 150lb men soaking wet when they finally crawl out of their protection ;) hehe

Hurling? i would hate to see a hurling player get mixed up with them. i have no doubt of the strength of American Football players, just that they are not nearly as fit as the other sports your mentioning
