I'm screaming on the internet, but I have NOOOOOOO voice in person!!
Congrats to the Saints!
The Saints played the better game and deserved their victory.:applause::sleeping_2:
Just drove in to West Monroe to Academy Sports. Thought we might buy a shirt or something.
What A LAUGH!!
We couldn't even get NEAR the place. It's like shopping the day before Christmas times 10!! Cops everywhere!
Academy Sports was open 'til 5:00 am two weeks ago. Wonder how long they'll be open tonight.
Should've know better than to make the drive tonight. BUT WAS TOO EXCITED!!!!
Congrats, Saint's fans deserved to finally win one. It feels good doesn't it? Always sweeter when you have rooted for a team a long time before they finally win it all.
The Aints win the Super Bowl????
This is the franchise that didn't have a winning season for the first 20 years of their existence. This is the franchise that had their head coach trade his entire draft for a running back. The Bears have played the Saints twice in the playoffs and going into neither game did I once think the Bears would do anything but win. I had no fear of, and no respect for, the Aints. Now they've won the Super Bowl. Craziness.
Is it just me, or does anybody else hear the clippity-clop of 4 horses?
We are quite accustomed to that mindset from much of the rest of the nation and not just about football. And we don't lose a whole lot of sleep over it. :sleeping_2:
Have a great day! I surely am!!
Scarlett, please understand that I'm only talking about the football. The Aints were so bad for so long that it was easy to disrespect them.
Congratulations too all Saints fans for a long-awaited victory. I'm sure you all never really thought it would happen.
I know you were just talking about football. :flower: :saint:
And yes, I NEVER thought it would happen, that's what makes it so great. My dad, has believed in them and followed them since the beginning. He is a Saints NUT!!
I pulled for the Colts because I'm a Peyton Manning fan. But it's hard for me to be unhappy at the Saints' win. What a story! And did y'all hear Drew Breese giving testimony to God's grace in his interviews? Great stuff.
He's definitely a great guy.
