Very impressed with the Ecuador defence. I love defence in almost every sport so was enthralled by this matvh. The Polish box was always swallowed up in Ecuador players and they took advantage of a couple of break to score goals.

    I like this team!

Paraguay will play England tough, they are another team from CONEMBOL that has been a surprise, playing both Brazil and Argentina well. Should be a good match.

Argentina plays Cote de Ivoire in todays final match. They should win. I don't think the US plays till Monday.

    England 1-0 Paraguay

This match was everything American fans don't like about soccer. It was dull, boring, slow, and no visible talent. Does not bode well for England.

Agree. It is usually so more entertaining watching the African teams and the America teams (South, Central, etc...)

European soccer is the most boring in most cases...

I thought Sweden and T&T was a fair second half. Sweden had a ton of chances and Hislop came up huge. T&T playing a man down played well. I thought the red card was a bit soft, but I didn't see the first half so it may have been building up. It was a foul for sure, but I wouldn't think it was a second yellow card.

T&T had a few chances to score a man down as well.

That's gotta be a huge setback for Sweden.

    England didn't play very well,
I think it's because, they have changed a lot the team formation these past few games.
But I still believe in England chances.

The US has a good chance, they made it all the way to the quarter finals and then were robbed by a bad call. Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Netherlands, England, France are all great clubs and could win. The US is by no means a push over though. Nobody in their group was happy they drew the US.
