http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2015/03/13/protesters-call-for-disbanding-of-ferguson-police-department/ Well, they aren't happy that the big, bad cop that killed the Prince of Thugs didn't end up fired and lynched from the tallest tree in Ferguson. They are not happy that the City Manager, Chief of Police, Municipal Judge, and several clerks have quit or been fired. No, that isn't enough. A crowd, and granted it is a small crowd in comparison to the crowds that took over the streets in August, is calling on the mayor to step aside, and in the words of the Great King Of Law, Sir Eric Holder, they are screaming and stomping their feet while they demand the entire police force be dismantled. If I were a cop in that city, I'd resign, effective last night, and leave the city without any law enforcement. Why resign? Because my life is not worth a plug nickel when buried within these groups of demonstrators are people with guns, wanting dead cops, preferably cops that are of any color but black. Which is something Ferguson PD has none? And to be perfectly honest with you, Ferguson as a whole, has become a hostile work environment. Nevertheless, these men and women swore an oath to uphold the laws and protect and serve the people of this city, so they stick it out. But, if they did disband, would that realistically end the anger and the protests? What say you?
