    Another Colorado megachurch pastor resigns, admitting to homosexual relationships. Rev. Paul Barnes of Grace Chapel, a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary steps down from the church he founded.

    How many more?

    Yeah, so let's change what the Scripture says and since so many pastors are having trouble with their sexuality let's make it not sinful.

    Yes, it was a joke accusing the KJVO of taking the Bible to litteral. It was funny when I thought of the finger pointing the statment would cause but being truthful, I don't see any Christian wanting to be associated with one living a life of Sin even in gist.

    It was a heartbreaker, but hey, a team twice our size won the game by two points. I've been at most of the Griz games for three years running, and this is the first time I've walked away after a loss.

    Do you go to many games ?

    Only when my Sister gives me her tickets. Otherwise I have to watch it on TV while I listen to it on the radio. :laugh: (The commentators on TV... well... no comment)

    It was way better than normal. Not sure who the commentators were, (three of them!), but they did a great job. They kept talking about how great of an atmosphere Missoula, Mt is for football. I happen to agree.

    Yup. Me too. But we should probably return this thread to it's original purpose. Nice chattin' with you. Someday we'll have to get together.

    Yep

    I hope I am wrong, but the OP of this thread sounds a bit like gloating.

    1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

    Blam, you need to go back and reread my OP. It is just a factual statement and a link. No way is that gloating. I think it is sad that this has become an issue with these men. What did you read? It wasn't my OP. Methinks you owe me an apology, not that I expect to get one.

    Concur...not sure what was being read into the OP for this contention to be made.

    This is sad news, for sure. Let's pray for the church members and his family. Sad, indeed.:tear:

    Agreed. I felt the pastor's sharing of his struggles in the article was very powerful in his approach to his "thorn" and a reminder of how gracious God is to us as imperfect and fallen beings. While he did the right thing to resign, I pray that the church can rally around him and his family.

    Blammo, people make mistakes reading posts, all the time. Some are more gracious than others in accepting apologies, some are more gracious than others in asking for them. Overall, you are one of the more thoughtful posters here.

    And you live in a pretty cool town.
