    I was a Lutheran until my late teens. The church I was in is now ELCA. Nothing the synod does suprises me any more. The truth is being systematicly taken away.

    An article in the Chicago Tribune stated that a poll showed that 32% of Evangelical Lutherans believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, which is not the postiion of ELCA.

    ELCA is now starting a campaign to fight Bibical illiteracy. They claiim it's not a corrective, but I dont believe that for a minute.
