I think for the most part, the poster is OK. He is just showing typical youthful frustration at what appears to be the apathy of older believers. He has indeed felt the power of God to change a life, and can't understand why we all don't get as fired up as him.

    Shame on us!

I agree. He sounds a little overzealous. been there, done that. BTW, how long has he been saved? That could account for some of his zealousness.

He is probably thinking of religion in contrast with relationship.

I had a farmer one time from Looneyville WV (Yeah I know, but don't make fun too long, it is named after a ancestor of mine :D )
Anyway, I had a farmer tell me that when you start training oxen, you have to first break them of being overzealous. If you don't they will wear themselves out. An overzealous Christian will burn bright for a while, but will eventually burn out. We have to pace ourselves.

He's still just a pup. Can't even buy cigarettes or beer yet.

Ignore him. He's just trying to get your attention.

BTW, a great example of why he shouldn't be allowed to vote, but good enough to be sent to fight.

He sounds a LOT like a guy I knew who was (1) messed up from former involvement with drugs and (2) soaked with rock music. I still have those emails.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].

We are to be in the world, but not of the world. This world is ever changing and the darkness of man's heart has man participating in many ungodly things.

Change, they say! Go with the flow! Get with it! But the above verse tells us to seek out the old paths and walk therein.

Give me that old time religion.
