WND Exclusive Obama blueprint for silencing talk radio exposed

WASHINGTON – As popular opposition to the reinstitution of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" mounts, Barack Obama and the Democrat-dominated Congress will end-run critics with legislation that will curb dissent on talk radio through the imposition of "localism" rules and community watchdog boards across America, charges a new book by a former NBC Westwood One talk-show host.

In "Shut Up, America! The End of Free Speech," author Brad O'Leary says the plan amounts to the development of party-approved "commissar committees" to censor the kind of lively and free-wheeling debate America has known since the scrapping of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" by President Reagan's Federal Communications Commission in 1987.

By demanding radio stations answer to local community watchdog boards to ensure programming is "balanced," "fair," "diverse," "tolerant" and "serving the public interest locally," O'Leary says the rules and legislation being planned will once again make talk radio accountable to politicians, political activists and bureaucrats at the FCC.

Give the 'collective' the feeling of control (government power) with out full possession of it.... a so called 'democratic voice' ....where majority opinion rules regardless of fairness or opposition or the value thereof..... call it 'freedom' because it is within the confines of the standards.... so called... dictated within each community.....

The power is still in the hands of the leaders in control: They likewise can say or dictate anything regarding the outcome of majority opinion: Already we have precedent for this judicial exercise as more and more courts are getting involved in election outcomes instead of elections being the scope, responsibility, and liability of election supervisors.

I say...... lets undo court decided elections and start sueing the election supervisors for failure in executing their responsibilities of office.... and certification of elections.

As for the O and talk radio.... these smart politicians are already thinking ahead and deciding strategies and outcomes.... defenses and arguements to get what they want: They come with their own agenda's so well prepared but not communicated to their own constituents until the very last.... so as to make it seem ....not only 'smart' and spontaneous', but also indefensible...... after the opposition has already expended its defenses and concerns with what some ....... like some members on this BB .....call 'fear mongering' or paranoid.

We keep our freedoms.... like a woman keeps her figure... or a man keeps his strength.... through rigorous exercise and discipline and encouragement to others to do the same and be supportive.

I hope the obamamites fail!
