The conservative radio host said, on the day of Sotomayor's confirmation hearing, Sept. 30, 1997, that she was extremely liberal and was on a "rocket ship" to the high court, according to a 1998 New York Times story on GOP efforts to stop her confirmation.

The funny thing is: she isn't that liberal. Take it from a real liberal: she isn't that liberal.

The reason liberals hate Limbaugh so much is that he sees through them, and then tells the truth to the public, far too often to suit them.

    He's almost always right.

How do you get that? I was agreeing with BiR that she isn't very liberal.

And which way do most justices turn when they get on that court and are beyond being voted out unless they commit a blatant crime? As part of a dictatorial panel, there is no doubt she would rule with that "Latina woman has a better grasp of things than a white man" philosophy. I've never seen a justice become more right-wing once on the court, but many times they show themselves more left-wing than they presented themselves to get there; including Souter. It would have souted me if he'd left a couple of years ago.

Set your sarcasm aside for a moment and reread the thread.
