In another thread, Robert Snow said...

    So...

Which country is more concerning to you? And why?

I know what you meant, but personally I am more concerned with the US than any others. If we will be strong, politically, militarily and morally, we will know how to deal with the other issues and countries that face us.

I agree, North Korea. With the instability that may result in a change of leadership NK will be more dangerous than it is now. I do not believe China, or anyone, has that much influence over what the leadership there ... and their military does. They are not paper tigers as was Iraq's military was when we invaded.

America. She is teetering on the brink of absolute despotism.

I haven't voted yet.. because I can't make up my mind...

    NK... or .... Iran.

Both are led by nuts who seems to be trigger happy.

China also has me worried.. only because China basically owns the US..

Then there is the United Nations... which is a whole different ballgame.

I am sure you can find a country more to your liking. Why don't you find one and move there.

The thing about Iran is, there's always a current of "death to America" underneath.

I'm not sure that the same exists in North Korea.

Everything else being equal, IMO--Wahabbi Islamic states are more dangerous than secular ones.

I am more concerned right now with the USA. I'm beginning to feel like an alien in my own country.

For me, it would be Russia...one, because of the massive arsenal; two, because Putin is such a wild card.

North Korea is still subject to China as it was during the Korean War. SHe makes wild claims for her own personal gains and not a real threat to anyone.

Iran has been brought to her knees before and knows it can happen again.

Leave China alone and she is no threat outside of her own country, and is gradually making many changes internally.

I fear Israel because she does have the military power and will, knowing that the USA will stand behind her and defend her actions. Israel has acted irresponsibly before in the Middle East and could do it again.

Oh, and Please don't export Aaron to Canada. We have enough basket cases up here already!

    Cheers,

    Jim

Russia is the wild card. Note:

They control natural gas prices for Europe.
They didn't like Georgia's allegiance to NATO and attacked
They've got their version of our old SAC running 24/7
They've never depleated their nuclear arsenal
They kill disenters with out conscience
They're slowly subjecting Europe to their influence.
They're basically an evil people who's ancestors fed children to wild dogs
    They are Magog. AAAAHHHHHH!

Right now, the leadership of the US is more frightening to me than any foreign country.

But if moral, freedom-loving, productive Americans move to another country, who are you going to rob to fund your retirement and medical insurance?
