    What a raging idiot.

    SOURCE.

She should be "science czar." Her belief in falsehoods would make her a perfect global warming proponent.

It amazes me how little intelligence it takes to have your own TV show. I would imagine Whoopi's IQ to be 2...and it takes 3 to grunt.

So, she's a scientist or something? She has evidence?
    Or is she just ignorant.

I watched a show on Discovery the other day about people who believe the moon landing was a hoax. They interviewed several people but I don't think any of them were real scientists. Most of them were old men who probably spend all their time reading sceptic magazines, books, and websites. Several of their assertions were easily proven wrong. The death nail for the hoax position is a laser in Texas that fires lasers at a mirror left on the moon's surface 40 years (McDonald Observatory). The purpose of the 40 year old experiment is to measure the distance of the moon from the earth. Sadly the project has lost its funding (STORY). If we never really went to the moon, how did those mirrors get there? If we never went to the moon, how did the lunar module "Eagle" get there? Anyone who believes the lunar landing was a hoax is uninformed.

How about Whoopi Goldberg is the real hoax, instead?? ;)

Now, as to any further participation, by me, in this dumb tread - "Ta-ta!" :wavey:

When one wants a good laugh..... reviewing moon landing hoax theories is a blast out of this world.... compared to other compared to other conspiracies which have more valid bases.

At least its more entertaining than the topic of MJ.

    You've got a point there.

But it's obvious she "wanna be startin' somethin.' "

I wish she would just "beat it."

If you have ever watched a game show such as "Hollywood Stars on Jeopardy" it is painfully obvious that most of them don't have a gnat's worth of brains and that their cognitive abilities are limited to memorizing lines and repeating them- kind of like politicians.

Reminds me of the joke about the doctor who was an ultra-specialist...he only did surgery on lawyers and politicians, when asked why, he replied,

"Easy. They're gutless, brainless, spineless, and their heads and behinds are interchangeable."

I generally like RealClearPolitics, but on this, they're simply being sensationalist. Goldberg isn't expressing a belief in conspiracy theories at all. She was simply having a brief amusing coffee-table discussion about the questions which conspiracy theorists bring up. RCP is making much ado about nothing, and the fact that we're doing the same is evidence to the fact that they've succeeded.

In all likelihood you are correct; these folk thrive on publicity, and anything that gets their name in front of the public is "good" - regardless of the sanity or intelligence of it.

Incidentally, Johnv, welcome back. Haven't heard from you for several years . Hope all is well with you & yours. JWP

She can't even figure out what happened with Glenn Beck on the AMTRAK train and she was there. Why should she think she knows what happened with the moon landing?
