Conservatives Now Outnumber Liberals Almost Two to One in America,

I suspect that the count is warped by the fact that conservatives are usually proud of it and don't mind claiming it.

OTOH Liberals are ashamed of being what they are and won't publicly admit it.

Or some far right extremest may have stole their identity... Could be...

Who cares? These figures change everyday. America needs to be more moderate and less Conservative and less Liberal. America needs to come back to the middle. That what Your President is doing, bringing it back to the middle after the Wild West experience of W, Donald and Dick. I don't see any of them on the speakers tours, I wonder why. At least your President is his own man. Didn't need daddy to buy his way into Yale.

Whoa now...if we're going to get into "qualifications for President" arguments, Obama will lose that ten times out of ten. Bush was a governor. Obama a "community organizer."

That comparison has nothing to do with how good they are...but your line of thought simply won't hold up under scrutiny.

RevMitchell, and I hope your not a Rev, because under the guise of calling your president a marxist, I smell a possible racist. You make it sound so. Give the man a chance, he just started in January, give the man a break, you should if you call yourself a Christian.

So....opposing a president on the basis of his socialistic tendencies is racist?

Sorry....but that is absolutely ridiculous.

But you have, unwittingly, hit upon a problem in this country: Objections to Obama's governing of our country brings cries of "racism" from many.

It's really silly...

  • One, because it completely ignores what racism is: the belief in the inherent genetic superiority of one race over another. So...opposing Obama because he trends towards authoritarianism and against freedom is racist......how????
  • Two, because it sets Obama up in a "no-lose" situation, and it makes discourse of his policies impossible. Is Obama messing up? Don't know. You can't ask, because it's "racist."
  • Three, because charges of racism are among the biggest death-knells to media...many are simply reluctant to share information that is critical of Obama...no way a network news outlet wants the "racist" brand. That would cost them much money, and much grief. Not to mention, they'd have to give Jesse Jackson even more money.
Finally....

...give the man a break, you should if you call yourself a Christian.

Wow. So we can question someone's faith, based upon their specific criticisms of a President? By the way...do your insults of President Bush fall under that same umbrella? Just askin'...

I hope we can get these good conservatives to vote the same way in 2012 as they did in 2008!

After all, if two-thirds of the country is conservative (which I doubt) then it took a lot of these conservative voters to elect our current president.

Being governor makes you more qualified how?

Palin was a governor who lost political effectiveness in her administration, does that make her qualified? Many f you were willing to vote for her.

You guys always bring up the constitution, where in the constitution does it say you have to be a governor to be qualified to be president?

Many of you voted for McCain, when we he governor?

Sorry gentleman, I was watching the old Star Trek and the Enterprise just finished destroying the Romulans.

I was not insulting Pres Bush, in fact I'm sure he is a good man in his heart.
There is no question that he was manipulated by Cheney for the Oil Interests. There is no question it was his father that got him into Yale. And there is no question he is having a hard time getting major speaking engagements. These are not insults, they are facts.

Most conservatives are comfortable to be known as conservatives, and most liberals are very uncomfortable being libs.... Skews the numbers... Not that the numbers mean much anyway...
