The article is a ridiculously insulting, infantile, and delusional pile of dog squeeze.

The writer, Stanley Fry of Rutland, is without a doubt a rabble-rousing idiot of biblical proportions. He either doesn't get the concept of 'truthfulness,' or doesn't care about it (likely, both).

MP, come on. You're a better man than this goofball, and you shouldn't be holding up such craziness in any esteem.

    From the "article:"
Summary for those of you needing one...Obama foes are motivated by:
    1. Pure, unadulterated hatred. Conservatives hate liberals and anything related to liberals. (Be aware...this Mensa member cannot distinguish between conservative and Republican, and uses the term interchangeably)

    2. Republicans are poor losers. Remember: R's and conservatives are "interchangeable." Of course, don't look for any evidence...and let's be sure and ignore some of the garbage we heard from some leftists in 2000, and 2004...

    3. Conservatives (Republicans) hate black people. Wow...didn't take long for the real agenda to show up, did it? Remember...there's no evidence here. Just a stupid accusation. Oppose Obama? Well, then...You hate black people.

MP...why would you propagate such garbage? I'm waiting for the punchline. Certainly you don't believe that about people like me...do you?

Here are his points and my counterpoints:

First, Obama is a liberal Democrat, and conservatives often hate liberals.

Second, he swamped the Republican candidate, John McCain, in the last election and history shows what poor losers Republicans are, e.g., when Clinton defeated George H.W. Bush and when Gore threatened to beat George W. Bush.

Third, he is a black man. This fact is almost never mentioned in this context because that would be "playing the race card." But we will never understand what's going on unless we face this probability.

    Counterpoints:

    Democrats hate Republicans. So what?

When Bush beat Gore and then Kerry the Dems pouted for eight years. Some on this board are still pouting and would be happy to tell you over and over that Bush stole the elections. So what?

Oh yes, the race card. Democrats love to say that Republicans are racist. However it is the Republicans that put African Americans in appointed positions at the top of Federal Government first.

And if "they voted against Obama because he is black" is valid then equally valid is "they voted for Obama because he is black".

The OP article is silly, frivilous and, quite frankly, a work of very shallow thinking - to put it kindly.

MP, you are slipping to source such an asinine article. The earlier posts above have aptly pointed out the flaws in your source. There was one response posted on the blog that summarizes the stupidity of the article and the stupidity of the Obama administration well. Name not posted to protect the innocent.

I am not a racist and I know the election was won by a large margin. So why don't I like our president? Because he is stupid; he has done nothing that he "promised" to do, except to make it legal to kill babies, and is doing exactly what Hillary Clinton did about health care, a lot of talk and nothing productive. Additionally, for anybody who thinks the Canadian health care program is so great, talk to some of the "victims" of this program and hear their horror stories. Another reason I don't like him is because he is using my money to go on vacations constantly. Now, let's hear it from all the tree hugging Republican hating liberals.

By the way Obama is traveling and talking today. He is campaigning at taxpayer expense! Guess he doesn't realize he won the election.

As usual, you are right on MP.

The most important point that is obviously true from the article is:

First, Obama is a liberal Democrat, and conservatives often hate liberals. Second, he swamped the Republican candidate, John McCain, in the last election and history shows what poor losers Republicans are, e.g., when Clinton defeated George H.W. Bush and when Gore threatened to beat George W. Bush. And third, he is a black man. This fact is almost never mentioned in this context because that would be "playing the race card." But we will never understand what's going on unless we face this probability. All three things are at work here...The third force I mentioned above is more powerful and insidious than the first two. It is clear to me that the major driving force behind this vicious and insane antipathy to Obama and everything he stands for is simple race prejudice.

So, RS, are you calling me a racist because I oppose Obama?

Think very carefully about your answer.

BTW...Robert Snow didn't offer a shred of cogent, logical defense of this stupid opinion offered by the author MP quoted.

    He just re-quoted the article.

Now...are there any cogent, logical defenses of this garbage? Re-pasting the article isn't defense, btw.

    *crickets*

P.S.: When you resort to name-calling (see point #3..."The reason Obama has so much opposition is because conservatives hate black people.")...you've lost the argument. Name-calling is the last resort of those with no point.

If I were calling you or rbell a racist, I would have used your name in my posting.

You are the only ones who know if you are a racist or not.

Utter bilious excretion, meant to deflect any criticism of the man, his agenda, or his methods.

    How insulting, yet predictable.

Not everyone who opposes Obama are racists. There are people who oppose Obama on philosophical grounds, economics grounds, political grounds ... and all those are OK as long as they are honest.

On the other hand I do believe there is a fair sized number of people in this country do oppose Obama because of race. As one of my African American friends said, "I do not mind if a person who is a racist is honest enough to tell me to my face that he is a racist. We can then have an honest discussion. Those who are racist but refuse to be honest about it, well there is no way to have an honest conversation with them because they are not being honest in the beginning."

Tiny, from your posts I have not seen anything that leads me to believe you are racist. There are others on the BB who oppose Obama that I do not believe hold their views because of race. I'll leave this post at that.

    Blessings.

See folks....when libbies are losing thier influence over the American people much like they are now they turn to victimization to gain sympathy. The lack of honesty in this is beyond measure. RS you are usually honest. this is disappointing.

Wow, it's ok that we hold different views. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have your permission to differ from the President and you.

What makes you think anyone holds their views because of race ? Be specific, please.

Well, Crabby does possess a unique ability shared with no other mere mortal - that being the ability to read the hearts of others.
