Wilson's Wife: 'Joe, Who's the Nut That Hollered Out, 'You Lie'?'

I thought this was very interesting. I'd say that Wilson's wife has lots of class. There is an interesting video clip at the link.

Roxanne Wilson, wife of controversial South Carolina Republican Rep. Joe Wilson, said her first impression of the person who interrupted President Obama's speech to Congress last week was that he was a "nut."

It was only after the speech she learned that nut was her husband.

"Joe called me after the speech on Wednesday night and I said, 'Joe, who's the nut that hollered out, "You lie" or "You Liar"?' " Roxanne Wilson said in a Web video released Tuesday morning by Wilson's congressional reelection campaign.

"And he goes, 'It was me.' And I said, 'No, really, who did it?' I couldn't believe that Joe would say that."

Sounds like she has more sense than he does. Maybe she should run for Congress.

Given that Joe himself said it was wrong, I wonder about his apologists on the BB.

Yes, Joe apologized, but why? Was it just to be polite, or to signify that was the wrong time to so state it.

But then again, as I mentioned before, had he called a press conference the next morning, he would have been lucky if it had made local news in his district.

So you think it was a ploy for media attention? The ends justify the means?

In order to be a ploy for media, it would have to have been pre-planned. I doubt it was.

I understand all this "being civil" but how long do we put up with lies.

Here is the final question. BO kept saying that there were nor death panels, no care for illegal, no abortion provided -
Then why is that not written into the bill?
Simply state those items are not permitted, leave no loopholes and that would take care of the situation.

Think 2nd amendment - does it give the right of arms to only the militia or any individual citizen?
