In the words of P.J. O'Rourke, "Liberals love America like O.J. loved Nicole".
News Flash! It isn't just Cons that love the USA. Your silly quote has no bearing on that. This nation belongs to us all. Cons don't have a corner on patriotism.

Democrats and liberals are not your enemy. But constant demonization of other Americans could lead us to destruction while our real enemies sit around and watch, waiting to pick up afterwards.

He's like a deer stuck looking in the headlights; he doesn't know what he is talking about!

BTW, I seem to remember when Cheney ousted a CIA agent, these same rabid right-wingers found nothing wrong with his actions. Pure hypocrisy!

Cheney did not oust a CIA agent, He did not even out her. It was her slime bag husband. Besides she was no longer covert so no crime was committed.

June 2003: According to the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward, the following interview with Richard Armitage at the State Department transpired "about a month before" Robert Novak’s column appeared on July 14, 2003.

Woodward: Well it was Joe Wilson who was sent by the agency, isn’t it?
Armitage: His wife works for the agency.
Woodward: Why doesn’t that come out? Why does that have to be a big secret?
Armitage: (over) Everybody knows it.
Woodward: Everyone knows?
Armitage: Yeah. And they know ’cause Joe Wilson’s been calling everybody. He’s pissed off ’cause he was designated as a low level guy went out to look at it. So he’s all pissed off.
Woodward: But why would they send him?
Armitage: Because his wife’s an analyst at the agency.
Woodward: It’s still weird.
Armitage: He* –* he’s perfect. She* –* she, this is what she does. She’s a WMD analyst out there. *
Woodward: Oh, she is.
Armitage: (over) Yeah.
Woodward: Oh, I see. I didn’t think…
Armitage:*(over) "I know who’ll look at it." Yeah, see?
Woodward: Oh. She’s the chief WMD…?
Armitage: No. She’s not the…
Woodward: But high enough up that she could say, "oh, yeah, hubby will go."
Armitage: Yeah. She knows [garbled].
Woodward: Was she out there with him, when he was…?
Armitage: (over) No, not to my knowledge. I don’t know if she was out there. But his wife’s in the agency as a WMD analyst. How about that?

Why would Richard Armitage have been talking about Wilson and Plame in June of 2003? This was still weeks before Joe Wilson wrote his New York Times editorial, and a month before Robert Novak published his column mentioning Valerie Plame.

Armitage brought this up because he is a gossip and it was already common knowledge because Joe Wilson had been calling all of the newspapers trying to get them to run his story about his mission to Niger.

Given the chronology and Mr. Armitage’s remarks, it seems quite obvious Mr. Wilson outed his wife when he spoke to the Senate Democratic Policy Committee and then to the subsequent reporters at the Times, the Post and elsewhere, when he was hawking his story about his trip to Niger.

Even the simple minded can find ample evidence on the web that Wilson first outed his wife!

If a bunch of liberal lawyers, actually the article said 3, can discover, identify, photograph covert agents then the agency is doing a very poor job protecting its agents you can bet your bippy that foreign governments already know who they are. Surely the CIA does a better 'covert' than that.
So the report is a lie?

I expect the report is the truth. I simply said if the CIA is so poor at protecting its covert agents that three sleazy lawyers can identify them, then surely foreign countries, with their intelligence services, know who the agents are.

Do you think the CIA is that bad at protecting their agents?

Yes, I am a Christian.

OK. So then you know that unborn children have the right to live because they're human beings made in the image of God, not because of what the Constitution may or may not say, right?

And, by the way, you do realize that your argument is the same one that was used to defend slavery, right?

Man you sure do jump to wrong conclusions, don't you?

What conclusion did I jump to? I just asked you a question.

The rules of this board forbid me discussing this so I will remain silent. I will only quote Scripture:

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

What conclusion did I jump to? I just asked you a question.

That if someone disagrees with your understanding or Scripture, they must not be saved.

Jer 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

Misusing scripture to justify slaughtering children is disgusting.

The rules of the board don't keep from you stating you are against the slaughter of the unborn which Obama facilitated as one of his first acts in office.

You are right, the rules don't forbid that at all. I do support President Obama; I will say that!

I stand by Gen. 2:7.

But the rules do prevent differences of opinion on scriptures dealing with abortion and the beginning of life from being openly and rationally discussed. There is a muzzle on this topic. It is a very emotional topic.

However, abortion is off topic for this thread.
