US Army to end Stop-Loss pgm

    Sort of sounds ok~if your unit is deploying, and you're a short-timer (<180 days) you can extend or get out early...it's that phrase "involuntarily separated" that has me concerned, is it reflected on the DD214 as something less than honorable discharge?

    Negative, fromt the article
    ..."soldiers who are subject to the involuntary discharge will not lose any rights or benefits they would have received if allowed to complete their tours of duty,..."

    Of course, if they are withing 180 days of ETS, they can always reu-up as well.
