Cap And Trade--an act of War?

I don't favor cap and trade, but it begs the question as to whether CO2 emissions should be regulated or not. I'm of the $.02 that the waste production of industry should indeed be regulated. That doesn't, however, mean that they should be overregulated, which is often what happens. The response is not to do away with regulation, but to reign in overregulation and unnecessary regulation. Cap and trade is not an effective way, imo, to impose regulations.

 

One could argue, I suppose, that supporting cap and trade is tantamount to treason because they are supporting a tactic that will ultimately destroy the nation economically.

One could conclude that is giving aid and comfort to our enemies or is an overt act of agression against the country.

I believe it's a stretch, though.

Treason is Constitutionally very hard to establish. If it weren't, Jane Fonda and John Kerry would be in jail.

Although , in Fonda's case, I believe it would be a relatively easy case to make if some enterprising AG bothered to do so.
